Your traffic arrives, looks around and leaves without a trace
An online store can get hundreds of visits a day and still not know who to write to tomorrow. Someone who doesn't buy on the first visit rarely comes back by chance. WooCommerce Coupon Box Premium is a pop-up that offers a coupon in exchange for the visitor's email address, so that a visit becomes a contact you can write to again.
Unique coupon, existing coupon or none at all
When visitors subscribe, they receive an email with their coupon. You decide how it is generated:
- Unique coupon per subscriber: created on the spot, with the type, amount and prefix you define, just like any WooCommerce coupon.
- Existing coupon: you pick one you already have and can restrict it to subscribed emails.
- Custom code: you send a fixed code that you write yourself.
- No coupon: it is used only to collect emails.
You write the email as you like (subject, heading and content) with shortcodes such as coupon value, code, expiry date, last valid day and site name, plus a shop button with the text and URL you want.
When it appears and how WooCommerce Coupon Box Premium looks
If visitors close the window, you can hide it or shrink it into a top bar or a button, and schedule when it shows again. You can also limit it to the homepage or choose the pages with WordPress conditional tags. The paid version adds triggers by time, by scrolling or when the cursor heads toward closing the tab.
For design you get four templates, six close button styles, welcome and thank-you messages, a background image, social network icons, a customizable subscribe button and your own CSS. There is a policy acceptance checkbox (useful for GDPR) and bot protection with reCAPTCHA v2 or v3.
Emails are saved in campaigns: you see the address, date, campaign and coupon given, and you can export them to an Excel file by date or by campaign. The connection to email marketing platforms includes Mailchimp, and the paid version extends it to SendGrid, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, MailPoet, Klaviyo and SendinBlue. The paid version also allows extra fields (name, mobile, birthday and gender), compatibility with WPML and Polylang and more design freedom.
Deciding whether this pop-up is what your store needs
It needs WooCommerce active: without it, it does not work. It is a lead capture tool, not a sending platform: you launch later email campaigns from your email marketing service.
A technical warning: the conditional tags field runs PHP code, so enter only valid tags from trusted sources.
Does it send coupons automatically?
Yes. When someone subscribes, the plugin generates the coupon and emails it to the visitor.
Can I take the emails to another tool?
Yes: you export them to an Excel file or sync them with your email marketing platform.
Does it work in several languages?
Yes, with WPML or Polylang, in the paid version.
