About WooCommerce Email Template Customizer Premium
The order email is the one your customer reads most, and almost nobody designs it
The order confirmation email is the message your customer opens most eagerly, and in many stores it is still the grey template WooCommerce ships with: no polished logo, no useful links, and the same look for a 15 euro order as for a 400 euro one. That message arrives right when the person has just paid and is most attentive to your brand. WooCommerce Email Template Customizer Premium lets you design it with a drag-and-drop editor, without touching code.
What you can put in each email with WooCommerce Email Template Customizer Premium
The editor works with elements that you place and reorder inside the template. There are two families:
- Basic elements: text (with color, size, alignment, links, images, shortcodes and icons), image, button, divider, spacer, social icons, a menu bar with links to Home, Shop or Contact, and a contact details block with icons.
- WooCommerce elements: order details, total, subtotal breakdown (discount, shipping, payment method, full refund), shipping method, payment method, billing and shipping address. Each one is styled separately: heading and data, borders, background, padding and margin.
There are also three elements designed to sell more: recommended products (the customer lands on the product page when clicking), coupons (they can copy the code and apply it to their order) and posts from your blog. The WC Hook element inserts content that another plugin generates at that point in the email, useful if you already have extensions that add data to the order.
You can also create reusable blocks and add them to any template, attach files, choose LTR or RTL direction, and see a desktop and mobile preview. Before activating anything, send a test email. A report shows the clicks and orders generated by the suggested products.
One limit to keep in mind: it is an email template editor, not a campaign tool. It does not manage lists or bulk sending. And the click report covers the suggested products, not all email activity.
Frequently asked questions before buying
Can I have several templates for the same type of email?
Yes. You can create several templates for the same order status and assign its own rules to each one. The plugin checks the list from top to bottom and applies the first one that matches.
Does it work if I sell in several languages?
With a multilingual plugin such as WPML, Polylang or TranslatePress you can assign different templates to each language. Without that plugin, the option does not appear.
Do they look good on mobile?
It includes a responsive point and a mobile preview. Even so, send a test to your own email to check it in your email client.
Do I need to know how to code?
Not to build and style templates. Everything is done in the visual editor.
Rules so each customer receives the email that fits them
This is what sets it apart from a simple editor. Each template supports conditions that decide when it is sent:
- Billing country
- Categories and products (the category rule also works with variations)
- Payment methods
- Minimum and maximum order amount, chosen between subtotal or total
- Language, if you use a multilingual plugin
For example, you can send a different design to someone buying in a specific category, or to someone who exceeds a certain amount and deserves a coupon in the same email. Order matters: templates with several rules (product, category and language at once) must have higher priority than general ones, or the general ones will apply first and the specific ones will never be used.
Templates can be exported and imported between stores
If you manage several stores or work for clients, you can export your templates and import them into another site where the plugin is installed and active. That way you start from a design that is already tested instead of rebuilding from scratch.
Before taking the design into production, test your rules with real orders in a staging store, especially if you combine amount, country and category. Define the most specific templates first, give them high priority and keep a general template as a fallback for each email type.
