About WooCommerce Frontend Manager
Managing the store from the WordPress dashboard falls short
Letting every vendor in your marketplace into the WordPress admin is awkward for them and risky for you: screens they don't understand, menus they shouldn't see and a panel designed for whoever runs the site, not for someone who just wants to upload products and check orders. WooCommerce Frontend Manager (WCFM Ultimate) moves that management to a panel on the public side of the site.
Who WooCommerce Frontend Manager makes sense for
Running a marketplace has a problem: most of your vendors aren't technical, and every question about how to upload a product ends up in your inbox. The clearer their panel is, the less time you spend explaining. This plugin is built for that case: multivendor stores running Dokan, WC Marketplace, WC Vendors or WooCommerce Product Vendors, although it also works for managing your own store from the frontend.
A product editor that understands complex product types
The strongest part is the frontend product editor. It gives you access from the panel to product types that WooCommerce doesn't include by default:
- Accommodation, appointments, auctions, events, rentals, lottery, tickets, bookings, subscriptions, listings and vouchers.
- Product import via CSV, quick and bulk editing, featured products and product duplication.
- Custom product fields with validation.
- Limits on products, gallery and categories, and category restriction per vendor.
There is also a bulk stock manager to update the stock of many products at once, and a controller that shows or hides field groups depending on the product type.
Orders, bookings and reports for each vendor
Each vendor can view and filter their orders by date and commission status, mark them as shipped, add notes, download PDF invoices and packing slips and export orders to PDF, Excel or print. If they sell bookings, they get a calendar, availability and pricing rules, person types, resources and manual bookings. Reports cover sales by product, coupon usage, low stock products and CSV export with a date filter.
For communication with customers and your team it includes customer-vendor chat, direct messaging, support tickets per store, a message board between vendor and admin, shipment tracking, vendor verification, followers, custom badges and vacation mode.
Advanced products need their own plugin
WooCommerce Frontend Manager doesn't create those product types: it gives access from the frontend to the ones that already exist thanks to other plugins. What it solves and what you need to cover yourself:
- It solves: the vendor panel, frontend management of products, orders, bookings and reports, and compatibility with plugins such as WC Product Addons, ACF, WooCommerce Appointments, RnB, WC Simple Auctions, YITH Auctions Premium, WP Job Manager, WPML and Geo my WP.
- You cover with another plugin: the bookings, appointments, auctions, rentals or listings themselves (you need the matching plugin) and the multivendor system itself (Dokan, WC Marketplace, WC Vendors or Product Vendors).
- You cover with a separate WCFM add-on: complex products such as bundled, composite or chained products, which require WCFM Product HUB, and different capabilities per vendor group, which require WCFM Groups & Staffs.
Frequently asked questions
Is it useful if I only have one store with no vendors?
Yes, you can use it as a frontend store manager. Its strength, however, lies in marketplaces with several vendors.
Can I offer auctions or bookings with this plugin alone?
No. You need the matching auction or booking plugin; WCFM brings it into the vendor panel.
Can I enable catalog mode only for some vendors?
Yes, but to define different capabilities per vendor group you need the WCFM Groups & Staffs add-on.
Does it allow creating translated products?
It integrates with WPML to create translated products from the frontend.
