About WooCommerce RedSys Payment Gateway
You have a virtual POS from your bank and sell to customers who pay in Spain
Setting up a WooCommerce store and discovering that your bank's card payment doesn't fit the checkout is more common than it looks. This plugin connects your store to Redsys (the one provided by CaixaBank, Santander, BBVA and other banks) and adds methods such as Bizum.
It suits you if you already have or are about to sign up for a virtual POS with your bank and want to take payments without sending the customer away from your store. It's not for you if:
- You expect to use it without arranging anything with your bank: many options and payment methods need to be activated by Redsys on your terminal.
- You want a single international gateway to sell in several countries with other payment networks.
- You prefer something minimal: there are many settings here, and it helps to know how your POS works.
Card, Bizum, Apple Pay and Google Pay in the same payment
The plugin adds the Redsys gateway to WooCommerce, plus Bizum, MasterPass, PayGold, InSite and Iupay. With card entry on the payment page itself, the customer doesn't leave your site. There is also Bizum without leaving the store, and Apple Pay and Google Pay as available methods.
You can choose the gateway language from the WordPress dashboard, customize the logo, work with two terminals, and test a terminal in test mode for everyone or only for users you pick. It works with more than 230 currencies and is compatible with WPML.
Preauthorize, charge later and refund in bulk with WooCommerce RedSys Payment Gateway
If you sell products you can't always deliver right away (made-to-order stock, bookings, services), charging up front carries a risk. The preauthorization gateway lets you confirm them later from the WooCommerce order itself, with a custom preauthorized status. You can also approve preauthorizations in bulk.
Refunds are made from the order, also in bulk, and Bizum refunds are supported. You can also choose what happens when a customer fails to pay on Redsys, and receive an email when someone has trouble completing a payment.
One-click payments and subscriptions: what it covers and what's missing
Tokenization works by payment reference and enables one-click payment, even without leaving the page.
For recurring charges it is compatible with WooCommerce Subscriptions and Yith WooCommerce Subscriptions Premium. You need to have that subscriptions add-on separately: the plugin doesn't create subscriptions on its own.
Sequential invoices and CSV export
The extension adds a consecutive invoice number to each order, something worth keeping under control in Spain. If you depend on that numbering, check with your accountant how it fits your invoicing; the plugin does not guarantee tax compliance by itself. It also includes a CSV exporter, and an advanced API and filters so a developer can adjust terminals, languages, currencies or the FUC code.
It is compatible with high-performance order storage (HPOS) and with the cart and checkout blocks.

Do I need a contract with my bank?
Yes. The plugin connects WooCommerce to Redsys, but you sign up for the virtual POS with your bank, and some methods need activation by Redsys.
Can I take Bizum payments without the customer leaving my store?
Yes, there is a Bizum option that keeps them on your site, in addition to the usual one.
Does it work for charging subscriptions?
Yes, together with WooCommerce Subscriptions or Yith WooCommerce Subscriptions Premium, which are installed separately.
Can I try it before opening it to customers?
Yes, there is a terminal test for everyone or only for selected users.
