About WooCommerce Sale Flash Pro
The «Sale» badge doesn't say how much you save
You discount a product and all the visitor sees in the listing is a generic sale tag. To know if it's worth it, they have to do the math in their head or open the product page, and many don't even try. Sale Flash Pro replaces that tag with a badge that states the saving explicitly: a percentage («25% off») or a fixed amount («£2.50 off»).
Choosing between the two isn't a cosmetic detail. On an expensive item, an amount in currency often impresses more than a modest percentage; on a cheap one, the percentage looks better. The plugin lets you decide which format your store shows, and the badge appears both in listings and on each product page.
Sale Flash Pro in a seasonal sale, step by step
Picture a clothing store discounting an entire collection, with a different discount depending on the garment. This is how the plugin fits into that job:
- You choose how the saving is expressed. A percentage if your discounts are high and eye-catching, a fixed amount if the product is expensive and the number is more impressive.
- You decide whether the original price appears. Showing it next to the sale price adds transparency and makes the value of the promotion visible; if you prefer a cleaner listing, you can leave it out.
- You check listing and product page. Check in the demo how the badge looks over your photos and whether it fits your theme's design.
One limit worth keeping in mind: this plugin takes care of the discount badge. Prices, coupons and discount rules are still managed in WooCommerce or with other extensions; it isn't a tool for building complete campaigns.
Variable products: the badge shows the best discount, not each option's
If a T-shirt has one variant with a 25% discount and others with 20%, the listing badge shows «up to 25% off». That way the product catches the eye with its best figure without you having to adjust anything by hand.
That has a practical consequence: someone who ends up choosing a variant with a smaller discount will see less than the badge suggested. If the gap between variants is large, it can feel like a bait and switch. With small gaps, the «up to» format works very well; with huge gaps, consider whether it's worth it.

Does it replace the badge WooCommerce already includes?
Yes. It swaps the default badge for customizable ones that can show percentages, fixed amounts or the «up to» format on variable products.
Does it work with variable products?
Yes. It finds the most attractive discount among the variations and highlights it, for example with an «up to 30% off».
Can I show the original price next to the discount?
Yes, you can show the original and the sale price together. It's optional.
Does it show the saving as a percentage or as money?
You choose: percentage or total reduction as an amount. Try both formats on your cheaper and pricier products before settling on one.
