A shop theme that does not tie you to its builder
It is the difference that costs most in the long run and the one least examined at purchase. Many shop themes ship their own visual builder, and that means the day you want to change theme, all your pages are left full of codes in square brackets and have to be rebuilt by hand.
WoodMart works with all three editors in the ecosystem: Elementor, WPBakery and the WordPress block editor, with around forty of its own elements for each. You pick the one you already use, and if you ever leave, you take the content in a format another theme understands.

The answer to the usual criticism
Multipurpose themes get reproached, rightly, for loading the code for everything even when you use a tenth of it. WoodMart answers that by loading the styles and scripts only for what is on each page, with lazy loading of images, conversion to modern formats and preloading of the main element.
It works, and even so it is worth measuring yourself: the score any theme advertises is measured on the empty demo, and your shop is going to carry your photos, your plugins and your hosting. Measure the product page and the checkout before calling the project finished.
A note on the demos
It ships more than a hundred homepages ready to import. It is tempting to try them all, and it is a bad idea: every import puts sample content, images and settings into the database, and cleaning that up afterwards costs more than starting again. Pick one, import it into a clean installation, and work from there.
