Months of work behind a launch, and all the public sees is a logo and a sentence. That page is often the only thing visible for weeks, and it is almost always wasted: it doesn't say when you open, it shows no progress and it doesn't collect a single contact.
Woodsman is designed for that wait. It comes with a countdown timer, a progress bar and Mailchimp subscription.

What matters is that whoever arrives today comes back on launch day. The countdown gives a date, the progress bar gives a sense of movement and the Mailchimp form turns a visit into a contact you can write to when you open.
An agency or freelancer with several projects
It is built with Elementor and includes an integrated Kirki customizer, child theme support and one-click demo install. You can set up a waiting page and adjust it quickly for each client, with Google Fonts and Typekit typography.
An online store under construction
It includes full WooCommerce support and AJAX features such as load more and cart. It helps if the store is already being built and you want to leave something polished in the meantime.
A moving background: four background types and 90 effects
This is what sets it apart from a generic waiting page. You can choose between:
- Solid color.
- A single image.
- An image slideshow.
- Background video from YouTube, Vimeo or HTML5.
There are also 90 animated effects that can be customized, including Aurora, Fireworks, Starfield, Snowfall, Fluid Cursor and Mouse Trail. They give the page personality: snow for a winter campaign, fireworks for an opening, a starry sky for something tech.
The rest is what you would expect from a complete theme: responsive design, multi-level menu, social share links, image or text logo, several blog styles, post formats, widgets, a .pot file for translation and W3C valid HTML. If you want to send messages from the page, it works with Contact Form 7.
Questions buyers ask
Do I need Elementor? Yes, the theme is designed to work with Elementor Page Builder.
Can I collect emails? Yes, with the Mailchimp integration. You need your own Mailchimp account to store the list.
Can I use my own background video? Yes, in HTML5 format, or one from YouTube or Vimeo.
Is it only for coming soon pages? No: it supports a blog, sidebars and other pages, so it can be more than a waiting screen.
Demo images and videos are not included
When you import the demo you will see the design, but without the sample photos and videos: you will have to add your own. The animated effects are eye-catching, so check in the demo how they look on your phone before choosing one.
