About WordPress Automatic Plugin
An automated blog has as many points of failure as it has sources
Building a site that publishes itself looks like an afternoon of work: you pick sources, create campaigns and content flows in. The cost comes later. Every source is someone else's site or service that changes without telling you, and the day it changes, the campaign stops publishing or publishes badly, often without anyone noticing.
WordPress Automatic Plugin, by ValvePress, publishes posts from almost any website: it uses the API of sites like YouTube and Amazon, and scraping modules for the rest. Its source list is very long, and it is worth reading it as a list of dependencies too. Walmart, Ezinearticles, Facebook groups and thebestspinner are no longer available. Reddit requires a session in the settings. YouTube transcripts go through TranscriptAPI.com. Instagram, Facebook and Google Translate have forced code updates because of changes on their side.
So before you count sources, count how many you can actually watch.
Where it can pull content from
- News and articles: RSS feeds with full content, Google News, Bing News, Medium and Google Trends.
- Video and audio: YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion, TikTok, SoundCloud and iTunes.
- Social: Facebook pages and personal profiles, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Reddit, Telegram and Flickr.
- Products: Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, ClickBank and the Envato markets, with affiliate links set automatically. The first three support WooCommerce with gallery and price.
- Any website: a single-page scraper that monitors one part and creates or updates a post when it changes, and a multi-page scraper with pagination.
What it does to the text before publishing
Generate it from scratch. From a keyword or your own prompt, it writes articles with OpenAI, Google Gemini, Claude or DeepSeek. Images can come from gpt-image-2, Gemini or Cloudflare Workers.
Modify what was imported. Modules such as Google News, Medium or Google Trends run content through AI to rephrase, summarize or translate it. There is also translation with Google Translate, DeepL and Microsoft Translator, and rewriting with SpinRewriter.
Keep only one part. Rules by CSS ID or class, XPath or REGEX extract specific fragments of the original, and search and replace changes whatever you do not want to keep. It also turns truncated feeds into posts with the full content.
The filters that decide what stays out
- No content or no images: the post is skipped.
- Repeated title: it checks that no post with that title already exists.
- Text possibly not in English: it stays pending.
- Failed AI image: the post can stay pending too.
Where the automation ends
It does not keep working when the site changes. A rule that extracts by CSS class stops matching when that site rebuilds its HTML, and it will have to be rewritten.
It does not decide what deserves publishing. It publishes whatever the campaign rules let through. The quality of the site comes from those rules, not from the plugin.
Compatibility and first campaign
It is compatible with WordPress 5.7.x to 7.0.x and WooCommerce 5.x to 9.x, and it installs on multisite. Each campaign publishes at the interval you set, or through the internal WordPress cron, and accepts proxies in ip:port form.
It pays to start small:
- Pick one source you will watch and create a single campaign.
- Leave it as draft and read the first posts exactly as they come out.
- Adjust extraction, filters and search and replace until they need no touching up.
- Move to publishing, and add another source only once the first has been stable for a while.
Other ways to bring content into WordPress
If you only need feeds, WP RSS Aggregator reads RSS sources and shows them as a list or imports them as posts. For scraping websites there is Crawlomatic, another crawling and post generation plugin.
If what you want is AI inside the dashboard and no importing at all, AI Engine Pro generates content and images and adds chatbots.
Questions before creating the first campaign
Can it import from Facebook groups?
No. That option was removed. Importing from pages and personal profiles remains.
Does it work for sites in Spanish?
You can translate before publishing. Bear in mind that the language filter only watches for English.
Does it publish directly or can I review first?
New posts can stay as drafts or be published.
