About WP Fluent Forms Signature Addon
A form that ends in "print, sign, scan and send us the PDF" loses customers along the way: people put it off until tomorrow, and tomorrow never comes. If you need someone to accept a quote, a consent or a contract from the form itself, you need a field where they can draw their signature.
What happens when someone signs with WP Fluent Forms Signature Addon
This plugin is an add-on for Fluent Forms: it adds a signature field to the form builder. Here is a real case, a company that wants its customers to accept a proposal without leaving the website.
- Step 1, build the form. You drag the signature field into the form, just like any other field, next to name, email and an acceptance checkbox.
- Step 2, sign. The customer draws their signature in the form field.
- Step 3, receive the submission. The signature arrives with the rest of the form data.
It needs Fluent Forms to work
It is not a standalone plugin: without Fluent Forms installed it does nothing. Check in the demo and on your own installation that the field appears and is saved correctly in your setup.
Do not stretch the expectation either: it is a field for drawing a signature, not an electronic signature service with certificates, audit trail or time stamping. If your industry requires a specific level of legal validity, check with an adviser first whether a drawn signature works for you.
