About WP Grid Builder Beaver Builder Addon

Filters in Beaver Builder without custom queries or shortcodes

Building a filterable listing in Beaver Builder often ends in pasted shortcodes, custom queries nobody wants to touch, or filters that reload the whole page and feel slow. This addon connects WP Grid Builder with Beaver Builder so grids and facets work like regular editor modules.

Two modules you can see while you edit

The addon adds two new modules: one to insert grids and one to insert facets. They are rendered inside the editor, so you see what you are building instead of an opaque shortcode.

Which Beaver Builder modules WP Grid Builder can filter

You insert the Facet module and, in the "Select a grid or module to filter" dropdown, choose what to filter. With a single facet you can act on these modules:

  • Posts Grid, Posts Slider and Posts Carousel
  • The WooCommerce module
  • Loop Module
  • PP Content Grid (from the PowerPack for Beaver Builder plugin)
  • WooPack Product Grid (from the WooPack for Beaver Builder plugin)

Grids can also display the results of archive templates built with Beaver Themer. When you filter, only what changes is requested and rendered, not the entire page, which is why it feels quicker than filtering with custom queries or the usual archive methods.

Decide if it fits: requirements, pagination and common questions

It is an add-on: it does not work on its own. You need Beaver Builder and WP Grid Builder installed. If you want to filter the PowerPack or WooPack modules, you also need those plugins.

The most important limit is pagination: the modules' own pagination options are not supported for the listed modules. To paginate or load more content (on click or on scroll) you use a facet, and the recommended choice is "Load" facets to get the most out of WP Grid Builder.

Does it work if I don't use Beaver Builder?

No. Its only purpose is to integrate WP Grid Builder with Beaver Builder.

Can I keep using the Posts Grid module's pagination?

Not with this addon. Replace it with a pagination or load facet (click or scroll).

Can I filter Beaver Themer archive template listings?

Yes, grids can display the results of those templates.

Does it filter modules from any other plugin?

Only the modules listed above. If you use a different module, check in a demo first that it appears in the dropdown of modules to filter.
