About WP Schema Pro Plugin
For people managing many similar pages, not for those wanting an all-in-one SEO tool
Adding structured data by hand to every article, recipe, product page or job listing ends up as code pasted page by page, syntax errors and markup nobody ever checks again. WP Schema Pro Plugin is built for those with repetitive content who want to define the markup once and apply it to many pages, without touching code.
It is not a full SEO plugin: it does not manage titles, sitemaps or content analysis. It focuses only on schema. It also cannot control what Google does with that markup: it provides the data in an approved format, but whether the search engine shows rich results, and when, is up to Google.
Three steps to mark up an entire type of content
It always works the same way:
- Choose the schema type from a dropdown.
- Decide where it applies: the whole site, certain pages, posts or categories, or only where you want it.
- Map the fields to data that already exists, such as title, featured image, author or date.
That mapping is the key: if you have a hundred posts, you don't fill in a hundred forms, you define the rule once. And if a field doesn't come out right by default, you can replace it with your own value or a custom field.
Over twenty schema types and a tool to create the one that's missing
The available types include review, local business, article, service, product, podcast, profile page, dataset, recipe, person, job posting, book, event, movie carousel, discussion forums, video, FAQ (also for Gutenberg), course, software application, vehicle listing and question and answer page.
If your case doesn't fit any of them, there is a custom schema tool to create your own. Use it with judgment: made-up markup with no basis in the visible content of the page doesn't help and may end up ignored.
Coexisting with Yoast SEO without clashing
If you already use Yoast SEO, you don't have to choose between the two: they can work together, and in the settings you decide which plugin handles each function. It is useful if you want to keep Yoast for everything else and hand schema over to WP Schema Pro Plugin. Define from the start who generates what, so you don't end up with the same type of markup duplicated.
Schema for AI assistants too
AI assistants and AI-powered search engines read pages and rely on structured data to know what each one is, who wrote it or how much it costs. Marking up prices, ratings, dates and authors gives them concrete facts to quote. The Person, Organization and Profile Page types help connect your content to real authors.
This improves the clarity of what you publish, but it does not guarantee that any assistant will cite you.
Validate before publishing
The plugin includes field validation that flags missing required fields and a direct link to Google's structured data testing tool. Use them with one page of each type before extending the rule to the whole site.
