Which metrics travel in WP Statistics - Advanced Reporting
Each report can be customized: you choose what to include and what to leave out, so you don't send a dump of figures nobody reads. It can include:
- Visitors and views: the overall pulse of the site.
- Most viewed content: which pages and posts drive the traffic.
- Search engine referrals: which search engines bring you visitors, useful to guide your SEO.
- Author performance: which bylines generate the most interest.
- Summary of top metrics: a quick view of what matters.
Charts accompany the figures and let you see trends over time, not just today's number.
Daily, weekly or monthly, and in PDF or CSV if it needs forwarding
You can schedule delivery every day, every week or every month, and set the time and date. That way the report arrives, for example, on Monday before the team meeting, and not whenever you remember to prepare it.
If the report has to circulate, you can export it as PDF or CSV and share it with your team or whoever needs it. Some reports, depending on the type of data, can only be exported as PDF.
It needs WP Statistics installed: on its own it collects nothing
This module is an add-on for WP Statistics. It doesn't measure visits by itself: it delivers the data that plugin has already collected. Before buying, be clear about what it covers and what it doesn't:
- It solves: scheduled email delivery of reports, with charts.
- It solves: choosing which metrics each report includes and exporting it as PDF or CSV.
- You cover it with something else: measuring visits, which depends on having WP Statistics active.
- You cover it yourself: interpreting the figures and deciding which content to promote or fix.
