About WP Travel Engine - Legal Documents
Before paying for a trip, customers want to see paperwork
Someone booking a trip with an agency they don't know hands over money upfront in exchange for something that doesn't exist yet. That's why the doubts arrive by email or WhatsApp: is the company registered? What insurance is required? What terms am I agreeing to? Each question costs you time, and many people who don't ask simply go to another agency.
WP Travel Engine - Legal Documents answers those questions before they are asked. It is an extension for the WP Travel Engine plugin that publishes your agency's documents on your site (registration certificates, VAT certificate, service contracts, liability waivers, privacy policy, insurance requirements and similar) so travelers can view them on screen or save them to read offline.
WP Travel Engine - Legal Documents: upload, sort and place files where they get read
Files are managed from the plugin's own menu page in the admin, with a form to upload them. There is no cap on the number of files: you can add as many as you need.
- Editing without re-uploading: you can fix the title and description of a file already uploaded, so a misspelled name doesn't force you to delete it and start over.
- Chained preview: you can review documents one after another without closing and opening each file.
- One-click delete: if you upload the wrong document, you remove it instantly.
- Your own order: you can put the files in the order you want and save it. It makes sense to put at the top what customers ask about most.
- Shortcode: it displays the list on pages, posts, widgets or tabs, and an argument lets you set how many columns it uses.
Only PDF, JPG, JPEG and PNG
If your contract is in Word, you'll need to export it to PDF before uploading it. The plugin also doesn't draft documents or collect signatures: it just publishes the files you already have. Which documents you should show is for your advisor to decide, not the plugin.
It needs WP Travel Engine
It doesn't work on its own: it is an add-on for the WP Travel Engine plugin and only makes sense on a site that already runs it.

Yes, as long as that page has tabs or an area where you can insert the shortcode. It also works on any page, post or widget.

They can view them or save them to read offline.

No, the number of files is unlimited.
Does it work for other kinds of documents, like an invoice?
It works for any PDF or image in the supported formats, but it is designed for agency documents that customers should be able to consult, not for deliveries to each individual person.
Each list is placed with its own shortcode
Getting started means uploading the files from the plugin menu, giving them clear titles and sorting them. Then paste the shortcode on the page you prefer and set the number of columns.
A practical idea: a dedicated page for the agency's documents, linked from the site footer, and a short list in each trip's tab with what the customer needs before booking (insurance and terms). Check on mobile how the columns look, because that's where many travelers read these documents.
