About WPC Buy Now Button for WooCommerce
For the store where the customer has already decided, not the one that lives off a full cart
Many customers click «Add to cart» with the purchase already decided and run into one more page in between: another chance to hesitate, open another tab or leave. If you sell fast-decision products, repeat purchases or few units per order, that step is unnecessary. That is the store WPC Buy Now Button for WooCommerce is for: it adds a button that takes the buyer straight to the next step.
If your business makes money because each order carries several products (accessories, cross-sells, bundles built in the cart), a button that skips the cart works against you. Nor is it a checkout redesign. And the checkout and fly cart popups are exclusive to the Premium version.
Four speeds for a single button
The plugin lets you scale how fast the purchase goes, depending on how decisive you want the experience to be:
- Hide the usual Add to Cart button, so that only Buy Now remains.
- Send to the cart page, useful if you prefer the customer to review before paying.
- Send straight to checkout, the shortest route without Premium.
- Open the Instant Checkout popup (Premium), without leaving the page.
You can also send the customer to a custom page after clicking. Each level removes friction, but it also removes room for the customer to correct something. A good starting point is direct checkout: try it and compare with your previous results.
Where WPC Buy Now Button for WooCommerce appears in your catalog
You can change the button position on the product page and on shop or archive pages, or place it anywhere with a shortcode, for example on a single-product landing page. It can be enabled storewide, for specific categories or product by product with the shortcode. That way you can leave out anything that needs explanation, configuration or a combined purchase.
The button text is editable («Buy now», «I want it» or whatever fits your brand), and so are the button or link parameters. A localization tab lets you change the plugin's phrases. It works with most themes and WooCommerce plugins, but check in the demo how it looks with yours, especially in listings.
The setting that empties the cart before buying
The plugin can reset the cart before redirecting the customer. With the option on, the cart is emptied right before sending them to payment; if someone had three items and clicks Buy Now on a fourth, it may surprise them. Decide based on how your customers shop: it is a setting you turn on or off.
Instant Checkout: paying without leaving the product page (Premium)
Clicking Buy Now opens a popup where the customer fills in their address and payment details without leaving the page they are on. The Premium version lets you choose where it appears (left, right, center, top or bottom) and enable a smoother scroll effect. It also offers opening the WPC Fly Cart popup after the button is clicked.
Without Premium, the customer always changes page: to the cart, to checkout or to the one you choose.
Common questions before installing it
Can I keep the add to cart button too?
Yes. You can show or hide it next to Buy Now, depending on whether you want to offer both options or only direct purchase.
Can I exclude categories?
Yes. You choose which categories get the button, so products that need more steps stay out.
Can I change the button text?
Yes, the text is changed in the settings, and the localization tab lets you customize other phrases of the plugin.
Does it work with my theme?
It is compatible with most themes and WooCommerce plugins. If your theme has a very particular layout in listings, check the demo before deciding.
