About Advanced Speaker Addon for MEC
For the organizer whose lineup revolves around who speaks, not the room
At a conference or a talk series, people often decide based on who takes the stage. Yet in many calendars the speaker is just a line of text inside the event, with no place of their own to see who they are and what else they take part in. This add-on fixes exactly that: every speaker gets their own page.
It suits you if your speakers appear in several sessions or if you want a showcase of speakers on your site. It does not suit you if your calendar is for classes or activities where the speaker does not matter, or if you do not use Modern Events Calendar: it is an add-on that requires MEC Lite or Pro and does not work on its own.
A dedicated page for each speaker
The core feature is creating an individual page per speaker. Instead of making visitors search the calendar for a person's sessions, they open that person's page and find them together. For the organizer, this means a well-known speaker stops being a loose name and becomes a gateway to your whole program.

Advanced Speaker Addon on any page with shortcodes
You do not need a single fixed place for your speakers. With shortcodes you can put the listing wherever you need it: a conference homepage, a program page or a guests section. You can show all speakers on a single page, in either list view or grid view, and adjust the shortcode with different options depending on what you want to show.
The grid usually works better when speakers are the visual draw of the event; the list, when there are many and you want them to be scanned quickly. Try both in the demo with your real data before deciding.
Highlight your star speakers with one click
When you create a new speaker for your events, you can mark some or all of them as featured with a single click. It is useful when you have a main speaker and several secondary ones, and you want visitors to see the biggest draws first.

Does it work without Modern Events Calendar?
No. It needs MEC Lite or Pro installed.
Can I show speakers outside the event page?
Yes. Shortcodes let you place the speaker listing on any page, in list or grid view.
Are each speaker's events shown?
Yes, you can show each speaker's events in the shortcodes, including those in progress.
Can I feature only some speakers?
Yes. When you create a speaker you can mark them as featured with one click, and you can also select several or all of them.
