Online sellers usually offer a catalog and hope visitors will browse all of it until they find what they want. Most don't: they get lost among filters, leave, or buy the first thing they see. A quiz that asks little and recommends well does that work for the visitor, and also tells you what they are interested in.

Advisor Quiz: four quiz types depending on what you want to find out

The plugin isn't limited to questions with a right answer. It comes with four formats:

• Content Filter: each answer equals a filter and, at the end, all of them are combined into a search. It is an advanced search disguised as an assistant, useful for a gift finder. It supports conditional questions that only appear if a certain answer was chosen before, and lets you give more weight to some questions than others.
• Trivia: questions with a correct answer, points per answer, several valid answers with partial or all-or-nothing scoring, and immediate right or wrong feedback. You can show only a set number of randomly chosen questions.
• Personality: each answer adds points to the profiles you create, and at the end one or several profiles are shown.
• Count: there are no right or wrong answers; the result depends on how many options the person ticked. You can recommend exactly what they didn't tick, for example articles about places they haven't visited yet.

Product and content recommendations with a query builder

Each result can carry suggestions. To define them you use a query builder where you choose the type of content (pages, posts, custom post types such as team, portfolio or testimonials, and WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads products) and narrow it down by categories, tags or keywords. For WooCommerce products you can also filter by price and availability. Adding recommendations is not mandatory: without them it works as a normal quiz builder.

Capture emails and measure whether the quiz sells

You can lock the result behind an email form, so only people who leave their address see it. It includes integration with AWeber and Mailchimp. It also offers buttons to share the result on social networks.

The statistics record visits, referrals, quizzes started and finished, answers, results, clicks on suggested content, new user registrations after the quiz and WooCommerce product purchases after taking it.

Three layouts and a shortcode to place it wherever you want

There are three presentations: Presentation (slide style, one question at a time with a background image), Image Grid (questions and answers with images) and Minimal (no images). You can change colors, fonts, checkbox icons and the texts of buttons and warnings, and add your own CSS and JS. It includes a start screen with a button, a progress bar and the option to hide answer titles to show only images.

Each quiz has its own shortcode, so it can be inserted into any post or page, including the text modules of page builders such as Divi Builder or WPBakery. You can also insert shortcodes, HTML or javascript ads before the results, after them or after a certain number of questions.

You prepare the texts and images yourself

• Already solved: scoring logic, profiles, filters, statistics, email form and layouts.
• You cover it: writing questions and answers, preparing the images for the Presentation layout, and keeping the catalog well tagged, because recommendations are only as good as the categories and tags they filter by.
• Languages: it is ready to be translated and each quiz has its own texts, but for several languages you will need to create one quiz per language.
