About Alicia – Elementor Portfolio Theme
A portfolio that looks like a template catalog doesn't win commissions
Anyone who shows their work online tends to run into the same things: a heavy gallery, projects that all look alike, or a case page that explains nothing about the job. And the visitor, who is another creative, an agency or a client comparing options, decides in a few clicks whether you stay on their list.
Alicia is a WordPress theme designed for studios, designers and agencies that live off showing projects. It is built with Elementor and comes with a good range of ways to present your work.
How Alicia shows your projects
The core of the theme is the portfolio list, and there is plenty to choose from:
- Gallery, masonry, justified gallery and slider: four ways to organize the same collection.
- Pagination your way: standard, load more button or infinite scroll, useful when your project archive grows.
- Varied project pages: gallery, slider, stacked images or full-width images, plus an info block for the project.
- More expressive elements: a horizontal portfolio slider, marquees (vertical, text and wave) and an interactive link showcase.
The idea behind it: a project without context is just a pretty picture. Combining the info block with a well-built case page lets you explain which problem you solved, which is what a client is looking for.
Header, footer and supporting pieces
Alicia includes three header types (minimal, standard and vertical), with a side area, built-in search, mega menu and separate logos for light, dark, sticky and mobile versions. The footer supports one to four columns on top and two at the bottom.
Besides the portfolio there are modules for client lists, testimonials, a blog with entry formats (audio, video, gallery, quote, link), tabs, countdown, Google Map, icons and buttons. In other words, what you need for a complete studio website and not just a gallery.
It installs with a one-click demo import and offers eleven predesigned homepages plus inner pages. It includes Slider Revolution and a child theme, and supports WPML and Contact Form 7. Typography is highly configurable, with more than a thousand Google fonts.
What to decide before choosing Alicia: questions and limits
Alicia fits if your portfolio is your main showcase and you want visual variety without coding. If you need a store as the core of your business, there are themes more focused on that: WooCommerce compatibility exists, with product widgets and a side cart, but the focus here is showing projects. And since the theme relies on Elementor, anyone who prefers another editor will have to adapt.
Can I copy one of the demo homepages as is?
Yes, with the one-click demo import. Then replace images and texts; otherwise your site will look too much like the demo.
Do I need Elementor?
The theme is designed to work with Elementor, so it is the natural way to edit the pages.
Is it suitable for a multilingual website?
It is compatible with WPML and ready for translation. Check in the demo how the long texts of your projects look.
Can I sell my work?
You can show products and a side cart with WooCommerce, but you need to install that plugin separately and it is not the theme's main use.
