About Analytify Pro Campaigns
Tagging campaigns without a shared criterion leaves your reports half-empty
You launch an ad, a newsletter and a social post, and at the end of the month you know traffic came in, but not which of the three brought it. It is the problem of anyone who runs campaigns without tagging them properly: the spend cannot be compared.
UTM tags rarely fail because of the tool: they fail because of habit. If one person writes "facebook", another "Facebook" and another "fb", the reports treat each variant as a different source and the data for a single campaign ends up split. Analytify Pro Campaigns gives you one place, inside WordPress, to create those URLs and another to read the results.
URL builder and campaigns dashboard: what Analytify Pro Campaigns does
It is an Analytify add-on with two pieces:
- UTM URL builder: you add campaign name, source, medium and other parameters to an address without leaving the WordPress admin. For a Facebook ad, for example, you would enter the campaign name, Facebook as the source and paid social as the medium.
- Campaigns dashboard: a list of all the UTM-tagged campaigns you have run, each identified by its name and with a breakdown of statistics. It shows which ones bring the most traffic, conversions and revenue.
The limits are worth knowing. It does not work on its own: it is an add-on and needs the Analytify plugin installed. It does not create ads or send emails, it only tags links and shows results. And you will only see what is tagged: traffic that arrived through links without UTM will not show up as a campaign, and links already published without parameters do not fix themselves.
Questions before setting up campaigns with Analytify Pro Campaigns
Does it work for an online store?
Yes, it can be used on any website, stores included. It helps you see which campaigns generate the most traffic and the most conversions.
What is a UTM parameter?
It is a tag added to the end of a URL to indicate the source, medium and campaign name of the traffic that reaches your site.
Can I use it without Analytify?
No. It is an extension of the Analytify plugin and depends on it to work.
Do I have to write the parameters by hand?
No. The builder is used from the WordPress admin by filling in the campaign, source and medium fields, and it returns the finished URL.
One campaign, one name: agree on the rules before publishing
If you work with a team, an agency or several freelancers, the builder only helps if everyone uses it and follows the same rules. Before launching anything, it is worth settling:
- How each source is written (always the same way, ideally in lowercase).
- Which mediums you will use and what each one means.
- A different name for each initiative, one you can recognize months later in the list.
The campaigns dashboard fills up once tagged links bring traffic
Generate your first link, use it in the ad, the email or the post, and wait for visits before drawing conclusions.
Test with a link of your own before launching a paid campaign: that way you check that the name, source and medium appear in the dashboard as you expected.
