A base theme for people who already build with Beaver Builder
When you build sites with a page builder, the last thing you want is for the theme to be another source of surprises: styles fighting your modules, bloated code or settings hidden across five different panels. Beaver Builder Child Theme starts from the opposite idea: a simple theme that stays out of the way of the design you create with the builder.
It is meant for people who already work with Beaver Builder and want a consistent starting point for sites that need clear pages that are easy to maintain.
Why a site the client maintains gets stuck on the theme
Many sites are maintained by someone who is not a designer: the business owner, an employee, an administrator. Every change of hours or content becomes a call to whoever built the site. What helps there is not a theme with hundreds of effects, but a predictable one, where the visual side lives in the editor that person already knows and is not scattered across the theme.
What Beaver Builder Child Theme does and where it stops
It is a base theme designed to coexist with the builder.
- Lightweight base: Beaver's approach is not to add to the site what you did not ask for.
- Designed to coexist with the builder: pages are designed with the drag-and-drop editor, and the theme remains as the background structure.
What it is not: it is not a page builder. To design pages with drag and drop you need Beaver Builder separately. Nor is it a theme with a ready-made library of industry demos: it is a base for you to build on. If you are looking for business features already built in, you will have to solve that with other plugins.

The child theme requires the parent theme to be installed
This is the part that causes the most returns: a child theme does not work on its own. It inherits from the parent theme, so install the parent first and then activate the child. If you activate the child without the parent, WordPress will show an error.
