Blackdsn is a portfolio theme with Ajax navigation, designed for architects, interior designers, landscapers, builders and designers. The idea is that moving between sections and projects feels continuous rather than a string of separate pages. In its demo you can switch smooth scrolling on and off, so you can check whether that rhythm suits you before building anything.
Blackdsn inside: pages, fonts and code
It comes with what you need to put together a studio website without starting from scratch:
- Three different home pages and more than ten inner pages.
- Responsive design, with a clean, modern style.
- Google fonts (Open Sans and Roboto One) and Font Awesome icons.
- Slick Slider for carousels and Magnific Popup for opening enlarged images.
- Bootstrap and jQuery as a base, with CSS, JS and SCSS files included.
- Compatible with Elementor and WPML, optimized for Gutenberg and widget ready.
If you have someone who works with code, the SCSS and commented code let you tweak styles without fighting the compiled output. If not, the visual side can be adjusted from the theme settings.
Few, well-chosen projects: making the most of a minimalist design
A studio is judged by its weakest project, not its best. A portfolio with twelve well-photographed, well-ordered works convinces more than sixty mixed together, and a clean theme like this lets the image do the talking, with no decoration competing with it. That has a practical consequence: the quality of your photos matters more than any theme setting. If yours are mediocre, they will show here.
It also includes shop pages with WooCommerce support. That can be handy if you want to sell something alongside the portfolio, such as prints or your own products, although you need WooCommerce installed and it is not a theme designed for a large catalog.

It also does not include the demo photos (they come from Freepik and Unsplash and serve only as a preview), so you will have to add your own. Open the demo on your phone and check how the transitions and the menu behave.
