In an appointment-based business (hair salon, clinic, academy, studio) every empty slot in the calendar is money that doesn't come back. That is why the addon treats the booking process as an ecommerce funnel: BookingPress Conversion Tracking Addon sends the events from that journey to Google Analytics 4 so you can analyze them there with real-time data.
What's useful isn't the total number of bookings, which you already know, but finding the point in the process where users cool off and which friction you can remove.

It won't start without a Google Analytics account
It is an add-on, not a standalone plugin. It is included with the manufacturer's Standard, Professional and Enterprise plans. In addition, to set it up you need the Google Analytics ID and the API secret, which you get from your Google Analytics dashboard. If you don't have a GA4 property yet, start there.
