About Bookly Compound Services (Add-on)
For the clinic or center where one person prepares and another finishes
This add-on lets the client book once and the schedule assigns each part to whoever is responsible for it.
- It suits you if your appointments are a sequence of services you have already created, performed by different people (or the same one).
- It does not suit you if each appointment is handled by a single person from start to finish: it adds nothing.
- It needs Bookly PRO: it is an add-on and does not work on its own.
Bookly Compound Services: a 1 h 30 appointment that is two bookings underneath
The idea is to combine existing services into a single complex, bookable service. The classic example: a “Physical Therapy” made up of “Preparation” (30 minutes) and “Procedure” (1 hour), each assigned to a different staff member. The client sees and books one service of an hour and a half, like any other appointment.
Since the simple services already exist in your Bookly, you do not start from scratch: you chain them in the order in which they are performed.
The gap between one part and the next stops being wasted time
You can include spare time between the services in the sequence, and that time remains available for other bookings. Each employee is only blocked for their own part, not for the whole appointment, so you make better use of your team's working hours.
If you prefer the same person to perform all the simple services of a complex appointment, you can enable that too.
Your team will see separate appointments, not a single one
There is a difference between what the client sees and what your team sees. In the Bookly calendar and in the appointments list, each simple service and each professional are recorded as individual appointments. If your center confirms, cancels or invoices per complete appointment, you will need to get used to reading several entries as one visit.
It is worth checking in the demo how those entries are displayed before deciding whether it fits the way you work.

Can I use services I have already created?
Yes, the feature consists of combining existing services into a complex one.
Is each employee busy for the whole appointment?
No: each person is only booked for their part, and the spare time between services can be used for other bookings.
Can the same person perform all the steps?
Yes, you can enable the same staff member for all the simple services of the complex appointment.
Does the client see several appointments?
No, they book just one. It is your team who sees the separate appointments, in the calendar and in the appointments list.
