About Bookly Customer Groups Addon
For the business that already makes exceptions by hand for its regular clients
As a calendar grows, clients with special treatment appear: the one who pays at the venue, the one who can only book certain services, the one with something agreed. If all that lives in your head or in scattered messages, sooner or later someone books what they shouldn't or pays the wrong way. Bookly Customer Groups Addon turns those exceptions into rules per group.
It suits you if you already work with Bookly PRO and have at least two types of client who should get a different experience in the booking form. It is not for you in these cases:
- You don't have Bookly PRO: it is an add-on and doesn't work on its own.
- All your clients get exactly the same treatment: you would gain nothing.
- You are looking for a complete booking system: this add-on only adds rules to one that already exists.
Services visible only to the group they belong to
You can decide which services appear in the Bookly form depending on the group the client belongs to. Think of a hair salon or a training studio with a service reserved for regulars, or a trial service you don't want everyone to see.
You can create as many groups as you need and share the same configuration between several clients.
Payment and appointment status: what changes in each group
For each group you choose which payment methods are available or even remove the payment step. It makes sense with trusted clients who settle later, or with those who always pay in person. You also choose the default status of that group's appointments, so bookings from some clients come in with one status and those from others with another.
Clients who are not in any group
There are general settings for anyone who doesn't belong to a group. That way you define a base behavior and only configure groups for what deviates from it.
Promotions for specific clients with Bookly Customer Groups Addon
You can offer promotions to particular clients. Before building your groups, try the demo and check how the form behaves with a client assigned to a group and with another who isn't.

Yes, service visibility is defined per customer group.

They have their own general settings, which you can configure separately.
