Charging for the appointment at booking time prevents no-shows
Anyone who manages appointments knows the problem: the client books, pays nothing, and at the agreed time doesn't show up. The slot stays empty and nobody recovers it. Bookly Stripe (Add-on) adds that payment to the Bookly booking form.

The client pays for their appointment without being redirected away from the Bookly booking form. Stripe is a recognized payment platform that operates in over 25 countries and lets both individuals and businesses accept online payments.

It needs Bookly PRO and only works with the classic form
It is an add-on: it doesn't work on its own and requires the Bookly PRO plugin to be installed. It is also not compatible with the search, services or staff forms. It only works with the classic step-by-step form. If your site uses any of those other forms, Stripe payment won't appear in them.

Does it work without Bookly PRO?
No. It is an add-on that depends on Bookly PRO.
Can I use it in any Bookly form?
No. Only in the classic step-by-step form. It is not supported in the search, services and staff forms.
Can I charge by any means other than card?
What the product describes is credit card payment. If you need other methods, check in the demo which options appear.
Can I charge a surcharge for paying with Stripe?
With the price correction feature you can change the appointment price when the client pays with Stripe. If you plan to apply surcharges, check your country's rules on them first.
What the client sees when they reach the payment step
It is a simple payment experience, with no external screens breaking the flow of the booking.

Before setting it up on your site, it's worth going through the whole booking as if you were a client: the payment step, the final price with the price correction, and the result in your calendar. Keep your Stripe account at hand, because without it there is no way to collect payments. Also check that your form is the classic step-by-step one, as it is the only one where this add-on works.
