About Bridge Creative Multipurpose Theme
A theme for everything can end up not quite right for anything
Choosing a multipurpose theme usually ends one of two ways: you get lost among hundreds of options without knowing where to start, or you install a huge theme and end up using a tenth of it. With Bridge it pays to decide first what kind of site you want, because its strength is starting from a demo that already resembles your business and adjusting it, not building from scratch.
Bridge is a responsive, retina-ready theme made for very different profiles: creative portfolios, corporate sites, law firms, medical practices, restaurants, gyms, hotels, weddings, shops and personal blogs. You can build with WPBakery, Gutenberg or Elementor, depending on which one you are comfortable with.
Bridge demos: a starting point, not the finished result
The theme includes more than 600 demos and 24 layout concepts, from standard layouts to more experimental ones. They import with one click and are customized afterwards. This saves a lot of structural work, but keep in mind that a demo comes with its sample texts and images: the content, photos and brand voice are yours to provide.
To choose well, think about your sector and look for the closest demo rather than the most eye-catching one. A restaurant demo saves you more than a portfolio demo tweaked to look like a restaurant.
Headers, menus and sliders with plenty of room to adjust
- Headers: ten types, at the top or on the side, with a light or dark look, and different color and transparency per page.
- Mega menu: wide or normal submenus, with or without icons, and widgets inside the columns. It also allows one-page sites using anchors.
- Side menu and fullscreen menu: useful for portfolios and very visual sites.
- Title area: with a responsive image, parallax, zoom or no image, global or per page.
- Qode Slider: a fullscreen image and video slider, with parallax, animations and control of typography, colors and text position on each slide.
There are also parallax sections, elements such as counters and progress bars, and an admin panel with typography options and several versions of the logo.
Modules for listings, news and membership
Bridge adds bundled plugins for specific types of sites. The listings plugin gives you its own content type and several shortcodes to build directories. The news plugin provides shortcodes to display posts in magazine-style layouts. And the membership plugin lets users create an account or sign in with their social network profiles. Some demos with user access have a test account (username test, password test) so you can see the dashboard.
Restaurant bookings depend on OpenTable
The restaurant plugin lets you create the menu, show opening hours and offer table bookings, but the latter work by connecting your site to an OpenTable account. It is not a booking system of its own.
- Already covered by the theme: menu, hours, venue presentation, the listings, news and membership plugins, slider, mega menu and importable demos.
- With an outside account: table bookings, which require OpenTable.
- With another plugin: multilingual sites need a translation plugin, and to extend the shop with quick view or a wishlist you use the YITH plugins compatible with Bridge.
- On your own: texts, photos, products, SEO for each page and payment and shipping setup.
Bridge is compatible with WooCommerce, so it works for building a shop, but you set up the catalog, payments and shipping yourself.

Do I have to use Elementor?
No. You can build with WPBakery, Gutenberg or Elementor. Pick one at the start and check in the demo you like how it is built.
Is it good for an online shop?
Yes, it is compatible with WooCommerce and with the YITH quick view and wishlist plugins. The products and logistics are up to you.
Can I build a site with table bookings?
Yes, but through an OpenTable account connected to the restaurant plugin.
Does it work for a site with many languages?
Check in the demo how it behaves with your translation plugin before committing to the design.
