People looking for a builder on Google usually compare three or four websites in one afternoon, and the one that doesn't show what it has built, which services it offers and how to get in touch gets discarded without a phone call. A badly put together construction website, with loose photos and a hidden contact form, costs quotes that never arrive. Brixel is designed for that sector: construction companies, architects and building businesses that want a website that adapts to mobile.
Six construction demos and a drag and drop page builder
The theme includes six demos made for construction and building companies. This is the most useful part if you don't want to start from a blank page: pick the one that looks most like your company, replace the text and images, and rearrange the blocks.
Layouts are built with WPBakery Page Builder, a visual drag and drop editor, and the homepage sliders with Slider Revolution. Both come integrated into the theme, so you don't have to look for them separately. If you already work with another page builder, bear in mind you will have to learn this one.
What Brixel does for your homepage and your blog
- Responsive design: the site adapts to mobile, which matters when clients look you up from the job site or from the car.
- Sticky header with its own color: the menu stays visible as you scroll down the page, and you can give it a background that matches your brand.

Quotes and projects don't manage themselves
Brixel takes care of presentation; the rest of the operation is up to you. This is the boundary:
- The theme already covers: construction demos, visual editor, sliders, mobile-friendly design, sticky header and blog and shop styles.
- You cover with another plugin: quote request forms (a forms plugin), SEO, backups and security.
- You or a professional handle: photographing the projects, writing the description of each one, asking the client for permission to publish it and adjusting the server configuration.
Check in the demo how the project portfolio is displayed and whether its structure fits the kind of work you do, because showing renovations is not the same as showing entire housing developments.
Hosting settings to check before importing a demo
If your hosting is tight on resources, it is common for the demo import to fail, for a blank screen to appear or for pages to end up empty. It all points to low PHP limits. The recommended minimum values are:
