About Coming Soon and Maintenance Mode
For anyone closing a site to the public without losing visitors
While you build a website, whoever arrives sees a half-finished site, an error or an empty screen. That visitor, who may have come from a recommendation, won't come back on their own. A coming soon page is the only shop window you have before you have a product: either it captures a contact or the visit is lost.
Coming Soon and Maintenance Mode fits if:
- You are launching a business, a blog or a webinar and want to collect emails from day one.
- You build websites for clients and need to show them progress without opening it to the public.
- You must put a site into maintenance without leaving it blank.
It's not for you if your website isn't WordPress: it doesn't work outside it. Nor does it replace your site: it is the page that stands in while you work, not a theme for the whole website.
An email magnet connected to your tools
The page collects emails and sends them to your autoresponder, CRM, webinar or marketing software. If you need something more, there is also Zapier. That way the subscriber doesn't stay in a loose list: they go straight into the system where you will work with them later.
Think about what you give in exchange for the email. The page collects it, but it doesn't write the reason to leave it for you.
From a template to a page with your own look, no coding
You pick a theme, change a few sentences and the editor works by drag and drop. There are themes designed for online businesses and for physical ones. Images come from an integrated free library (Unsplash) that you search by keyword from the media library itself, with image filters and content animations to give it personality.
If you prefer full control, there are fields for your own HTML and CSS, and you can skip the built-in editor.
The secret link: the client gets in, the public doesn't
With Secret Access Link, the client (or whoever you decide) sees the real site while everyone else keeps seeing the waiting page. It saves you from sending screenshots or opening the website too early.
It also includes SEO tests, checks and guidelines to review that page for search engines. No waiting page ranks you on its own: the tool helps you set it up properly.
Rebranding for agencies that don't want to show their supplier
From the dashboard you can change the plugin name, logo, colors and links, so the client sees it as part of your service. If it's your own website, you don't need it; if you install on other people's sites, it's what gives a professional image.
