Putting together an affiliate comparison isn't the hard part. The hard part is that three months later the price has changed, the product is sold out and the reader clicks a button that leads to an empty listing. Whoever publishes affiliate content manages other people's inventory without being able to touch it, and almost nobody mentions that at the start: the work isn't publishing, it's maintaining. Content Egg Pro is built for that maintenance. It brings in product data from more than 30 affiliate networks, turns it into page blocks and keeps it up to date.

Imagine you want a roundup of countertop blenders. This is how it goes with Content Egg Pro.
1. Connect where the data comes from
You pick the network where your readers buy: Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Walmart, Awin, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten, bol.com and many more. If your Amazon API access hasn't been approved yet, there is a no-API module so you can start building and switch to the API once it's granted. If the merchant offers a CSV, XML or JSON feed, it is imported directly and prices sync on their own.
Here comes the first limit: if the store has neither an API nor a feed, you need Affiliate Egg, a separate plugin that reads data from the store page and plugs in as modules inside Content Egg.
2. Search and match products
You look up each product and attach it to your page. To compare properly across stores, GTIN/EAN matching prevents mixing up similar models.
3. Build the page in Gutenberg
- More than 25 editorial blocks (Egg Blocks): comparison table, pros and cons, verdict, quick picks, where to buy, FAQ, key takeaways or table of contents.
- More than 20 product templates: boxes, grids, lists, comparison tables, bestsellers and deals.
- Each block is mobile-friendly and comes with its own styling, in several variants.
The blocks give structure, but the opinion, the real-world testing of the product and the choice criteria are up to you.
4. Keep the page from going stale
Prices and availability refresh automatically. You can show price history charts, let visitors sign up for price drop alerts and highlight the biggest discounts with widgets. For deals sites, deals expire on their own when the price rises or the product sells out, with voting, coupon codes and store pages.

And with Agent Access, an assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude (any that supports OpenAPI or MCP) runs the plugin by conversation. It acts as your WordPress user and saves drafts by default: nothing goes live until you approve it. Always read what is generated before publishing.
Bridge Pages let you create long-tail pages in WooCommerce or review format, and you keep control of canonicals.
