About Cosmecos | Cosmetics & Perfumes WordPress Theme

Setting up an online cosmetics or perfume shop usually ends one of two ways: a generic template where the bottles look like hardware, or a custom design that eats the budget before you sell your first serum. Cosmecos is a WordPress theme made for beauty shops, organic or handmade cosmetics, perfumes and spa centers, with WooCommerce as the store foundation.

From installation to your first product page

This is the typical path for someone opening a shop with Cosmecos, and each step shows what the theme solves and where its job ends.

  • You import the demo content with one click. You skip the blank screen: you see the site already built and swap in your own texts and images.
  • You pick one of the three home pages. There is one for organic cosmetics, one for a perfume shop and one for beauty products. Depending on what you sell, you start from the closest one instead of rebuilding it.
  • You edit with Elementor. You move blocks around visually, without writing code. It is the page builder the theme is designed for.
  • You load the catalog into WooCommerce. The theme provides the design of the shop, the catalog, the product page and the cart with checkout. Products, prices, taxes and shipping are set up by you in WooCommerce.
  • You complete the supporting pages. Templates come for About Us, Services, Delivery, Pricing plans, Gallery (in two layouts), Blog, Contacts and a 404 page with its own design.

Why looks matter so much in perfume and cosmetics

In beauty, customers cannot smell or touch anything before buying. All they have is the photo, the typography and how orderly the page feels. Cosmecos puts the focus on typography and usability, and includes more than 650 Google fonts to adjust the tone: more clinical for dermocosmetics, warmer for handmade products. It also lets you choose any color, upload a logo as an image or as text and make it retina ready, so your brand does not look like other shops using the same theme.

What Cosmecos does on mobile and in search

The design is responsive by default, which is key when a good part of cosmetics purchases start on a phone. Loading items with AJAX avoids reloading the whole page while browsing. It is ready to work with SEO plugins such as Yoast, although real ranking depends on your copy, your photos and how you describe each product.

It needs plugins and your own work to be complete

  • It requires WooCommerce to sell: without it you have an attractive site, not a shop.
  • Contact forms rely on Contact Form 7, which is a separate plugin.
  • It includes a basic child theme, useful if you are going to edit code without losing your changes.
  • It is multilingual in the sense of being translation ready, but the translations and the language plugin are up to you.
  • If you sell skincare products, be careful about which properties you attribute to each one in the product pages: claims about effects have their own regulations and the theme does not validate them.

Frequently asked questions about Cosmecos

Does it work for a spa or a salon, not just for selling products?

Yes for presenting services, since it includes Services and Pricing plans pages. If you also need online booking, check in the demo whether it is included and, if not, plan for a separate plugin.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. With Elementor and the demo import, almost everything is built visually.

Can I use it on a multi-site setup?

It is ready for WordPress Multisite.

How many home pages does it include?

Three: organic cosmetics, perfume shop and beauty products. They can be customized to your taste.
