Your hotel website competes with a Booking listing that already has photos and reviews
People looking for a place to stay usually compare your property on a booking portal and on your own website. If yours looks poorer than the portal listing, they book there and you pay the commission. A hotel, hostel or B&B website has to offer what the portal can't: the character of the place, large photos, your own copy and a clear path to booking direct.
Aegean Resort is a theme designed for that kind of accommodation. Its strength is visual: configurable headers and footers, reusable sections and three starting presets so you don't begin with a blank page.
Three starting presets: Aegean Resort, City Hotel and Olympus Inn
The theme comes with demos ready to import in one click, so you can replicate the sample content and then replace the text and photos with your own. The available presets are:
- Aegean Resort, the one that gives the theme its name.
- City Hotel.
- Olympus Inn.
Open all three demos and keep the one closest to your type of property: it is easier to adapt a similar structure than to rebuild one from scratch.
Colors, fonts and global sections you can change without touching code
Customization is done from the WordPress Customizer, with a real-time preview:
- Header and footer: color scheme, layout, typography and logo, plus links and information in the footer.
- Your own palette: you can change the colors across the whole site or fine-tune them by area, such as the top bar, the header or the footer.
- Google Fonts: you pick the font pair from dozens of families and adjust their properties in the key sections.
- Global sections: you design a block once, with the block editor or with Elementor, and reuse it across several pages. It works, for example, for a booking call to action you want to repeat everywhere.
You can build pages with the block editor and the GutenBee block collection, or with Elementor if you prefer drag and drop. The theme is built to load quickly and also includes WooCommerce integration in case you want to sell products.
Is Aegean Resort enough to sell rooms, or do you need a separate booking engine?
Aegean Resort is a theme: it solves your website's design, not availability management. A room calendar, payment for bookings or syncing with portals depends on an external booking engine or channel manager. Before deciding, check in the demo how booking connects with the service you use or plan to use. WooCommerce is for selling products, but it doesn't turn the site into a room booking system on its own.
Can I use the block editor or Elementor?
Yes, either one. Elementor is optional, but if you choose it you will need it installed on your WordPress.
Can I copy the look of a demo?
Yes. The sample content is imported in one click and then you replace it with your own information.
Can I change colors and fonts without coding?
Yes, from the Customizer, with a preview before saving.
What do I need besides the theme?
A domain, hosting and WordPress installed. If you want online bookings, add the booking engine of your choice.
