About Divi LearnDash Kit
Designing course pages with Divi, without shortcodes
Divi and LearnDash work well apart and badly together. LearnDash outputs its course lists, student progress and forms through shortcodes, and a shortcode inside Divi is an opaque box: it does not render in the builder, it cannot be styled, and it ignores the theme's design controls.
The usual result is a two-speed site: beautiful marketing pages and a student area wearing LearnDash's default look.
Divi LearnDash Kit solves that by turning those shortcodes into native Divi modules.
The 16 modules
Displaying the course (5): course list, course content, lesson list, topic list and quiz list.
Student information (4): profile, progress, course status, course info and accumulated points.
Management (3): registration forms, payment buttons and user groups.
Advanced (3): video progression, course expiry status and survey button.
What changes in practice
- They are configured from module settings, not by typing parameters inside a shortcode.
- They are styled with Divi's controls: typography, colours, spacing, mobile version and global styles.
- They render in the builder while you edit, instead of discovering the result after saving.
The feature that earns its keep
Enrolment-based visibility. It lets you show or hide any element depending on whether the visitor is enrolled, enrolled in a specific course, or not enrolled at all.
With that, one page serves as a sales page for those who have not bought and as a student dashboard for those who have. No duplicated pages and no redirects.
Requirements, and a version warning
It needs the Divi Builder, whether through the Divi theme, the Extra theme or the standalone plugin, plus LearnDash and WordPress 7.0 or higher.
It currently supports Divi 4. Divi 5 support is announced but not available, so worth checking if your project is already on the new version.
