You have a library of PDFs, presentations or contracts in Google Drive and you want people to download them from your site, but sharing the raw Drive link has a cost: you lose track of who downloads what, the link can end up circulating anywhere, and your brand disappears behind a Google screen. Download Monitor Google Drive Extension is built to solve exactly that.
Your files stay in Drive, the download comes from your site
The extension connects Google Drive with Download Monitor. You paste the usual Drive sharing URL and the extension detects it and integrates it with your Download Monitor setup. The person downloading does so through Download Monitor, not from a Google page. The file lives in Drive, but the download stays under your control.
Anyone sharing documents with clients has a tracking problem
A file sent by email or through a direct link is a file you know nothing about afterwards. With the extension you can change what you sent after sending it. You will also know what each client viewed and downloaded. Combined with Download Monitor's email notification, you get an alert every time someone downloads one of your files.
