About Edplus - Education & Online Course WordPress Theme
Selling online courses isn't uploading videos: it's sustaining a journey
Setting up an online academy often starts with enthusiasm and ends as a website of loose pages: unordered videos, students who don't know where they stand, quizzes in another tool and certificates made by hand. Teachers usually know their subject inside out, but what decides whether a student finishes a course is the structure that supports them.
Edplus is a theme for training centers, academies, schools, universities, coaching and independent educators. It works alongside Tutor LMS, the system that manages the courses, and is laid out with Elementor on top of Bootstrap.
Courses, students and teachers: what Edplus organizes
The learning side relies on the Tutor LMS tools that the theme integrates:
- Frontend course builder with drag and drop.
- Dashboards for teachers and students, where each one sees their courses, assignments, progress and profile.
- Unlimited quizzes with several question types, timers, and data export and import.
- Assignments, gradebook and event calendar to follow deadlines and performance.
- Branded certificates for anyone who completes a course.
Sales and teaching structure with Edplus
What matters most to sellers is how the catalog is organized. You can group several courses into bundles, require prerequisites before enrollment, offer a lesson preview before purchase and release content on a schedule with content drip. That way students move forward in order and aren't overwhelmed on day one.
If you want to open a marketplace with several teachers, the theme supports multiple instructors, collaborative courses and revenue sharing with commissions and instructor payments. It also includes notifications, email templates editable from the settings, and analytics with reports on performance, progress and quiz results.
Design: demos, Elementor and customization options
It includes 3 homepage demos and more than 20 ready-made inner pages, with more than 20 own elements for Elementor and custom fields (Advanced Custom Fields). There are dynamic color controls and typography settings, an RTL version for right-to-left languages and WPML compatibility for multilingual sites. It is responsive and retina ready.
If you're unsure about the look, check in the demo how the course pages and student dashboards turn out: those are the screens where your audience will spend the most time.
Is Edplus your theme if you'll charge for courses? Questions and limits
Edplus is not an LMS of its own: course management depends on Tutor LMS, so you need that plugin active. Compatibility with Elementor Pro and WooCommerce is declared, but don't assume every sales feature works without them; check in the demo which screens depend on what.
Is it suitable for an academy with a single teacher?
Yes. Dashboards, quizzes, certificates and prerequisites work the same with a single instructor. Revenue sharing only matters if you open the platform to more teachers.
Can I build a Udemy-style marketplace?
The theme supports multiple instructors, commissions and payments, which is the foundation. Student volume, hosting and recruiting teachers are up to you.
Can I translate it or use it in Arabic?
It includes an RTL version and is compatible with WPML, so it can be set up in several languages.
Do I need to know how to code?
Not for the usual tasks: the course builder and Elementor are handled visually. Finer adjustments may take some practice with Tutor LMS.
