About Eronment – Environmental WordPress theme
An environmental website that moves people but doesn’t explain wins no donors
Many environmental organizations have a clear cause and a website that only repeats slogans: forests, planet, future. Visitors sympathize, but leave without knowing what exactly you do, where and with what results, and anyone comparing similar causes ends up backing the one that shows concrete work. Eronment is a WordPress theme built for environmental nonprofits and energy or recycling organizations, which spreads that concrete work across dedicated pages: services, cases, events, gallery and donation.
Eronment step by step: from the home page to the donation
Imagine an association that protects wildlife and forests and wants to fund a campaign. Here is how the theme would fit at each step.
1. Choosing the home page
There are five home variants (Home 01 to Home 05). The demo opens with large messages about protecting rainforests, species and communities, with “More about us” and “Donate now” buttons in plain sight. Pick the variant that puts your main campaign on top, not the flashiest one.
2. Explaining what you do, line by line
There are service pages for recycling, water saving, energy saving, planting, waste management, solar power, wildlife protection and eco ideas. Each lets you explain one line of work instead of piling them all into a single text. If your organization only does two things, six pages are surplus: remove them from the menu rather than leaving them half empty.
3. Proving it with cases and photos
Cases, a three or four column gallery, testimonials and frequently asked questions make up the proof section. It is the place for your field photos and real results; with stock images the effect is lost.
4. Inviting people to events
The theme includes an events calendar, a full list and a page for each event, useful for planting days or talks. Check in the demo whether the event page lets people sign up: what you see is date and details, so don’t assume seat booking.
5. Asking for the donation
The menu carries a donate button, there is a donation page and the home page shows campaigns with a percentage-raised bar. That is the visible part. Before relying on it, check whether real payment collection is handled or whether you will need a separate donation plugin; a progress bar in a demo is design, not an account that updates itself.
Questions from people building a nonprofit site with Eronment
Does it work for a solar energy or recycling company? The structure does, since there are solar power and waste services. But the demo’s texts and buttons are framed for a charitable cause, so you will need to change the approach.
Does it include a blog? Yes: a classic blog with a list and a page for each post, suitable for news and press releases.
Does it include team, 404 and coming soon pages? Yes, the demo has all three.
Can I collect donations with the theme alone? Don’t take it for granted. The demo shows the page and the button; verify how payment works before launching a campaign.
Placeholder text and counters: what to change before publishing
The demo uses sample text in testimonials, blog posts, services and team bios. It also shows impact blocks (solar power, recycling, scientists, conserved area). Before publishing:
- Replace all placeholder text with your own.
- Fill the impact blocks only with figures you can back up.
- Swap sample testimonials and names for real people.
