About Everest Forms - Razorpay
An order form without UPI loses sales in India
Building an order or donation form is the easy part. The hard part is getting the customer to the end: if they can't find their usual method at checkout, they close the tab.
Everest Forms - Razorpay connects your Everest Forms forms to the Razorpay gateway so the payment happens inside the form itself, with customers located in India. It works for selling products, collecting payments in marketing activities or receiving donations.
How Everest Forms - Razorpay takes payments inside the form
The customer can pay by credit card, UPI or mobile wallets. You decide what is charged and how much with the payment fields you add to the form:
- Single item
- Multiple choice and checkboxes
- Quantity
- Subtotal and total
You can also enable coupon codes in the form that processes payments with Razorpay.
It needs the paid plan of Everest Forms
It's an add-on: it doesn't work on its own. You need Everest Forms installed and the paid plan that includes this addon.
Built for customers in India
The addon is designed to take payments from customers located in India. If your audience is spread across several countries, don't assume it works for all of them without checking first.
Frequently asked questions about Razorpay in your form
Can I use it without Everest Forms?
No. It adds payments to the forms you already build with Everest Forms.
Which payment methods will the customer see?
Credit cards, UPI and mobile wallets.
Does it work for donations?
Yes, as well as product sales and payments tied to marketing activities.
Can I offer discounts?
Yes, with coupon codes inside the form that takes payments with Razorpay.
Check the whole payment journey before publishing the form
A badly configured payment shows up late, when the customer has already left. Before publishing, go through the form as a buyer would: choose a product, change the quantity, check that the subtotal and total add up, try the coupon and go all the way to payment.
Also check what the person sees at the end and which email they receive. Everest Forms can send automatic notices to the user and the administrator after submission, so make sure both messages confirm exactly what was ordered.
