About Everest Forms - Stripe
If you already use Everest Forms and want to take payments without building a shop
Charging through a form often ends up as a separate payment link, a manual email with an invoice, or a whole store installed just to sell three things. This add-on solves one specific case: the visitor fills in the form, enters their card in the same form and pays with Stripe without going through a separate checkout page.
It does not suit anyone who needs a cart with stock, shipping, taxes by country and order management: that takes a real store. It also does not work on its own: it is an add-on for Everest Forms and needs the base plugin, plus your own Stripe account.
People who charge by form lose the sale at the last step
Every extra click and every extra page is a cost. If the form collects the details and the payment in the same place, the visitor does not go through a separate checkout page.
Everest Forms - Stripe payment fields to build the amount
The add-on adds a credit card field to the form. After the form is submitted, the transaction is processed with Stripe. Besides the card, you can build the amount with different payment fields:
- Single item: to charge a fixed amount.
- Multiple choice and checkboxes: so the customer can pick among several products or extras.
- Quantity, subtotal and total: so they see how much they pay before submitting.
With this you can charge anything from a donation to an order with several lines, without leaving the form.
Payments that repeat every month or every year
For subscriptions, recurring payment lets you charge automatically on a monthly or yearly basis. Keep in mind: the add-on charges, but it is not a membership system. If you want to restrict content to paying users, you will need a separate tool.
Customer data, conditional logic and iDEAL
- Field mapping: the information the user types into the form can be linked to their details in Stripe, so you do not have to copy them by hand.
- Conditional logic: the payment adapts to what the person answers, for example showing a field only if they choose a certain option.
- iDEAL: lets you offer this payment method to customers in the Netherlands. If you do not sell there, you do not need it.
