About Exford - University & School Education Elementor Template Kit
A university or school website is rarely maintained by one person: admissions posts deadlines, a department changes a study plan, communications publishes news. If every change depends on a developer, pages go stale and nobody dares to touch them. Exford is an Elementor template kit designed so that team can share the work and edit without writing code.
Exford and the pages an educational institution repeats endlessly
The kit includes 17 ready-to-use pages, and the real value is in the list and detail pairs, because a faculty or a course is always described with the same structure:
- Faculties and Faculties Detail: the list of faculties and the page for each one.
- Academy and Academy Detail: the same for academy courses or programs.
- Staff
- Blog and Single Post
- Home, About, Contact, FAQ and Error 404: the foundation of the site.
This lets you design once and reuse: when you add a new degree, you copy the structure instead of building from scratch. It also includes a Header, a Footer and a global style (colors and typography) so everything keeps a consistent look.
A kit for free Elementor, not a theme
Exford is not a WordPress theme: it contains only the page designs. It is built with containers and designed for the free version of Elementor, so you do not need Elementor Pro. It works with Hello Elementor or any Elementor-compatible theme.
That said, it requires these plugins to be installed: Elementor, ElementsKit Lite, MetForm, Gum Elementor Addon and Ultimate Addons for Elementor Lite. With the free version, the header and footer are assigned from Ultimate Addons; if you have Pro, you can do it from Theme Builder.
Contact, newsletter and appointments with MetForm
There are three MetForm form templates: general contact, newsletter subscription and appointment request.
The design is responsive and the three forms, like the rest of the pages, adapt to small screens, which is where many people will visit the site from. The kit states compatibility with Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera.
Is this design enough, or do you need more than a template kit?
Exford solves the visual side and the content structure. It is not a virtual campus, an enrollment system or an online course platform: if you need to charge for registrations, manage students or teach classes, you will have to add other tools. The demo images are examples: replace them with real photos of your school before publishing.
Do I need Elementor Pro?
No. The kit is designed for the free version of Elementor and its companion plugins.
Can I install it on my current theme?
If your theme is compatible with Elementor, yes. Hello Elementor is the cleanest option.
Does it work for taking online enrollments?
Not as an enrollment system. The forms collect contact details, subscriptions and appointments; payments or managed registrations require another plugin.
Can I change colors and typography?
Yes, the kit includes a global style and everything can be customized.
