A factory sells in two markets, and its website usually serves only one
The first is the market for orders, and almost every industrial website is built with it in mind. The second is the market for the people who work there: welders, CNC operators, maintenance technicians, newly qualified engineers. A plant can have a full order book and be unable to fill it because it cannot find anyone to hire.
That candidate also looks at the website before applying, and looks for other things: what is made there, what the plant is like inside, which positions are open and whether there are internships. If all they find is a catalogue, they go to the factory next door.
Fabrik, by VamTam, treats careers as a first class section, with its own menu and its own block on the home page.
What Fabrik includes
- Two home pages: one for a large factory and one for small manufacturing. The demo is a steel manufacturer.
- Careers: open positions, students, and diversity and inclusion.
- Company: about, people, investors, locations and a page to become a customer.
- Fifteen solution pages, from CNC milling and turning to automotive, energy, mining or packaging.
- Ten product pages, such as carbon steel plate, stainless, titanium, machined and cast parts.
- R&D: labs, technical papers, eco innovation and ISO certification, with downloadable PDF reports.
- News, events and a gallery of video and images.
How to set up the careers section so it brings candidates
One page per position, not a list. Each opening with its shift, its location and what an ordinary day looks like, so it shows up in searches for that job.
Use the students page. Internships let you prepare today the people you will be short of in three years; tell the training centre which profiles you need.
Show the real plant. That is what the gallery is for: photos and videos of the job, not of the facade.
And give candidates the salary if you hire in the EU. The European pay transparency directive (2023/970), which EU countries had to adopt by 7 June 2026, gives job applicants the right to know the starting pay or its range, for example in the job ad itself or before the interview, and bans asking them about their previous salary. It applies to employers of any size, through each country’s own law: it is worth checking how yours has applied it.
Elementor Pro from start to finish, and what is not included
Fabrik is built with Elementor Pro widgets: header, footer, mega menus, forms, popups and templates for products, the blog and search. Without Elementor Pro you cannot import the demo or set up the theme, and it is not included. The theme's own code can be removed widget by widget.
The job openings are pages: there is no system shown for receiving and filtering applications, so the practical route is an Elementor Pro form or a separate tool. There is no visible quote request form or shop either, and WooCommerce is not among its compatibilities. The investors section, with a stock ticker, only makes sense for a listed company.
What Fabrik needs and where to start
WordPress, with declared versions from 6.0 to 7.0, Elementor and Elementor Pro. It is compatible with WPML and with right to left writing.
- Install Elementor and Elementor Pro before importing the demo.
- Choose between the factory home page and the small manufacturing one.
- Delete investors, locations or R&D if you will not fill them.
- Set up careers and students before the full catalogue.
- Upload your certificates and data sheets to R&D as PDFs.

Manufaktur Solutions brings eight example sites on Elementor for metalworking, machinery and energy. Industrium is designed for industrial corporations, with sections for services, experience and the management team, and Samatex covers industry, manufacturing and construction with its own visual builder. For Fabrik you need Elementor Pro.

Does it work for a small workshop?
Yes, it has a small manufacturing home page, and it is worth deleting the large company sections.
Does it manage applications?
No. The openings are pages; applications arrive through a form or another tool.
Does it work without Elementor Pro?
No. The import and the setup need it.
Can I sell parts online?
It is not set up for that: there is no shop and WooCommerce is not among its compatibilities.
