For people selling farm produce who already work with Elementor Pro
A farm usually has good produce and a real story, but a website that shows neither: loose photos, a price list in PDF and a cart nobody finishes. Ferme is a WooCommerce theme made for farms, local produce shops and food stores that sell meat, dairy or other food and want to tell where their products come from on the same site where people buy.
It fits you if:
- You will work with WordPress, Elementor, Elementor Pro and WooCommerce as your base.
- You want to edit header, footer, product pages and cart with the same visual editor.
- You want a clean, modern site that looks good on mobile and tablet.
It does not fit you if you are not going to use Elementor Pro: it is required to import the demo content and for the theme setup. Nor is it a farm management system: selling by weight, delivery dates or delivery zones depend on WooCommerce and its extensions, not on the design. Check in the demo what you see and what you will have to add.
A farm shop that changes every week needs to be redesigned without touching code
On a farm the catalogue is not fixed: there are seasons, products run out and some weeks have more variety than others. That is why it matters that Ferme is built with Elementor Pro widgets and not with its own panel that forces you to learn another tool. What you already know about the editor lets you change a product page, a home page or a notice without depending on anyone.
With Elementor Pro you build these pieces:
- Header and footer.
- Dynamic templates for products, blog posts, blog and shop archives, the 404 page, maintenance mode, the coming soon page and search results.
- Mega menus, forms and pop-ups.
Ferme's WooCommerce builder: from the product page to checkout
The part that matters most to anyone selling online is the shop. With the Elementor Pro WooCommerce builder you can design the product page, product archives, the My Account page, the cart, the checkout and the side cart. In other words, the customer's whole journey looks like the rest of your site.
Ferme also extends WooCommerce with three extras: wishlist, Ajax search and gift cards.
Fewer panels to learn: Elementor Pro global styles act as the theme panel
Ferme has no options panel of its own. Colors, fonts and general settings are managed from Elementor Pro global styles, and control of mobile and tablet, with custom breakpoints, comes from the same place. If you hand the site to a client or run it alone, there is less to learn and fewer plugins to maintain: the base is WordPress, Elementor, Elementor Pro and WooCommerce.
The theme's own code is limited to extending Elementor widgets with styles and animations, and it can be removed widget by widget. It includes support for right-to-left (RTL) languages. The demo images come with the demo content.
Common questions before choosing Ferme
Does it work without Elementor Pro?
That is not the intended use. Elementor Pro is needed for the demo content importer and for the theme setup, and the header, footer and shop are built with it.
Is it useful if I do not sell online and only want to show the farm?
You can present your story and your products, but it is designed for selling with WooCommerce. If you only want a presentation site, part of what it includes may be more than you need.
Does it solve delivery or selling by weight?
WooCommerce handles that with its extensions. Ferme provides the design; before deciding, check in the demo how products are displayed and what you need to add for the way you sell.
Do I have to learn a new options panel?
No. General settings live in Elementor Pro global styles and the rest is edited with the visual editor.
