About Fitness Calculator

If you run a health blog, a yoga studio or work as a personal trainer, you know how it goes: every week someone writes to ask about their BMI, how much water they should drink or how many calories they need. What Fitness Calculator calculates and what it needs to work
The plugin bundles several calculators that you insert with a shortcode on any page:
- BMI, body fat (BFP), basal metabolic rate (BMR) and ideal weight. The BMI includes a chart for children and the ideal weight covers the child case.
- Calories and water intake, with results shown in graphic format.
- 6-minute walking test: shows the distance the user should cover.
- Blood type: predicts a baby's possible blood group from the mother's and father's.
- Weekly diet plan, which each user can create on their own.
Calculations run via AJAX, without reloading the page, and the report can be printed as a PDF or shared on social media. Colors can be adjusted to match your theme, and the plugin ships with a .po file for translation. Scripts and styles only load on pages where a shortcode appears.
The artificial intelligence part depends on an external key
AI-generated results and the chatbot use the OpenAI API. You must provide your own key, and OpenAI charges based on usage: check its rates before enabling it on a high-traffic site.
It is an orientative tool
This is health data. The results are estimates for the visitor, not a diagnosis, and your site should make that clear, especially if you address patients.

Getting started means deciding which calculators you want and which page each one goes on. One page for BMI, another for water and another for the diet plan usually work better than a single page with everything stacked, because each can rank on its own in search engines. If you will use AI, have the OpenAI key ready from the start and test with your own data before publishing, to check that results and colors look the way you expect.
