Your own bookings, with no commission per cover
Restaurant booking platforms charge for every customer seated. On hospitality margins that commission comes straight out of profit, and the customer arriving that way is not yours: their details sit with the platform, and next time they will look for you there again.
This plugin puts the booking form on your own website. No commission and the diner's details in your database.
The booking
A responsive form with styling options for colours, sizes and text, and several ready-designed templates: contemporary, columns and direct reserve. Custom fields can be added to ask for whatever you need, from allergies to whether they are bringing children.
Tables
Table management and assignment, which is what separates a contact form from a real reservation system. Without it you end up accepting eight bookings for four people in a room with six tables.
Notifications
- Advanced email templates for confirmations.
- Email reminders before the booking, which is what most reduces no-shows.
- SMS on the Ultimate plan.
- MailChimp integration, subscribing the diner to your list automatically.
That last point carries the most value in the medium term and is the one no external platform will give you: every booking grows your mailing list, and that list is yours.
Deposits
It supports taking a deposit at the time of booking. In restaurants with high-demand tables or a set menu, that is the measure that genuinely eliminates no-shows, more than any reminder.
Management
Booking export to PDF, Excel or CSV, and access through an included mobile app, which is the practical option when whoever is checking the list is on the floor rather than in the office.
