The form that never actually gets built

Almost every project has a list of pending forms nobody makes. The quote request with the ten questions that would save the introductory call. The booking form for next month's workshop. The feedback form after a purchase.

They do not get made for want of ideas, but because each one costs half an afternoon: opening the builder, dragging fields, deciding validations, wiring the logic of what appears when, connecting the email notification. And since none of them is urgent, there is always something before.

FormGent goes straight at that friction: you describe the form in a sentence and it generates it, and from there you adjust whatever is needed. The work goes from half an afternoon to a short while.

What the official FormGent licence covers

The premium features activated on your site, the maker's updates while the licence is current and their support. The GPLClub team does the activation on your domain.

What it does

• Generates forms from a description, with artificial intelligence, rather than building them field by field.
• Edits with the native WordPress editor, with no second interface to learn.
• More than twenty field types: file uploads, repeatable fields, rating scales, payments and the usual ones.
• Conversational and multi-step forms, with conditional logic to show only what belongs.
• Integrations and webhooks: PayPal, Zapier, Google Sheets, MailChimp or Zoho.
• Spam defences with a hidden trap, reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha or Turnstile.

When it pays

If you have forms pending for months. That is its exact promise: lowering the cost of building one so far that they stop being postponed.

If your forms change often. Campaigns, sign-ups or surveys lasting a few weeks: there, building fast is worth more than any advanced feature.

And an honest note about the automatic side: what it generates is a starting point. The label wording and the order of the questions still deserve your judgement, because they are precisely what decides whether people finish.

The catalogue has two neighbours with different approaches: the Bit Form licence, aiming at browser weight, and IvyForms, with templates and a choice of spam filters.

About licensing and the GPL

The code is distributed under the GPL licence and its use is free. Updates, support and activation against the maker's servers are separate services contracted with them. They are not the same thing, and buying one is not buying the other.
