About FV Player Pro
A video player that does not care where your videos live
Anyone publishing video on WordPress usually ends up tied to whichever platform hosts it. If it is on YouTube, you get the YouTube player with its recommendations at the end. If you upload to your server, you get the basic WordPress player. And if you move hosts, you change player and appearance too.
FV Player breaks that dependency. It is a player of its own that sits in front of whatever the source is, so the look, the controls, the statistics and the restrictions are yours even when the file is somewhere else.
What it can read from
YouTube, Vimeo, Rumble and Odysee; Bunny Stream and Cloudflare Stream; Amazon S3, CloudFront, KeyCDN and BunnyCDN; MP4 and HLS you host yourself; and MPEG-DASH. Also live streaming from YouTube, Vimeo, Cloudflare, Rumble and Viloud.
What it adds to playback
- Position saving: the viewer comes back and carries on where they stopped, which on long video is the difference between finishing and giving up.
