A growing blog often ends up as a jumble: posts mixing photos, video and audio, a menu that overflows, a homepage that doesn't know what to highlight and a layout that falls apart on mobile. Grand Blog is designed to avoid that mess in blogs and online magazines.
If you publish a lot, you need readers to keep reading
A blog's business is attention: each visit is worth only as long as it takes the reader to leave. Many blogs lose readers not for lack of content, but because after the first post nothing invites them to continue. Grand Blog works right there: infinite scroll, a reading progress bar on each post, instant AJAX search and a sticky menu that doesn't vanish as you scroll.
Grand Blog and its homepage: sliders and combinations
The homepage is built with two post slider layouts, full width or three columns, which can be combined with different listing styles. There are more than 20 slider and blog combinations. In addition:
- Varied content: posts support photos, galleries, YouTube or Vimeo video and SoundCloud audio.
- Menus: mega menu, off-canvas side menu and a sticky main menu.
- Customization: everything is adjusted from the WordPress Customizer with live preview, including colors, Google Fonts typography and header background.
- Unlimited sidebars: you can create a different one for each page.
- Social networks: social profiles and integrated Instagram and Flickr photos.
What it is not
It is a blog and magazine theme, not a store or a free-form page builder. Product reviews depend on the WP Review plugin, multilingual translation on the WPML plugin, and caching and SEO rely on external plugins (W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, Yoast SEO). The contact form is a page with validation, not an advanced form manager. If you use the Instagram integration, keep in mind it depends on the Instagram API, which has changed several times: check in the demo that your account connects.

Yes, it supports a child theme for advanced changes that won't be overwritten by future versions.

Reviews, galleries and shortcodes for richer posts
With the WP Review plugin you can publish reviews. The gallery admin lets you upload several images at once, and the shortcodes include columns from 2 to 5 and a built-in generator to insert them without remembering the syntax. Page typography is flexible and columns are built without writing CSS.
The demo imports in one click, but review it
The predefined post styles load with a one-step demo import. Do it on a clean or test installation: the import adds sample content and settings that you will then have to replace with your own. Afterwards, check the homepage slider, the menu and the footer widgets in the Customizer, and verify the Instagram connection if you plan to use it.
