A services website is judged on the first screen
Someone looking for an agency, a consultancy or a professional rarely reads carefully: they open three or four sites in tabs and stay with the one that makes it clear, effortlessly, what you do and how to contact you. The usual failures are a cluttered homepage, a menu that disappears when scrolling down, or a site that gets lost in the middle of a wide monitor.
Bogaty is a theme for business websites that presents the company and its services in a modern, sober layout.
Building the Bogaty homepage, step by step
Picture a small consultancy that needs a presentable website. The path would be this:
- Step 1, the logo. You upload it from the WordPress customizer using the standard custom logo feature, without touching code.
- Step 2, the header. You choose a full-screen image with a parallax effect. Look for a photo that works with text over it and is compressed: a parallax with a heavy image is the first thing that slows loading.
- Step 3, the menu. The sticky header keeps the navigation at the top while scrolling. Take advantage of it: add the link to your contact page in the menu so it is always one click away.
- Step 4, the testimonials. The theme supports showing customer opinions. Use real ones, with first and last names if they allow it: the theme displays them, it does not create them.
- Step 5, the blog. Infinite scroll loads more posts when you reach the end of the page, in automatic or manual mode. This feature, along with custom colors and fonts, belongs to the full version: in the free one the setup is manual and without those options.

The design adapts to desktop, tablet and mobile, and takes special care of extra wide monitors (1920 px and up). It works in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
It is optimized for speed and SEO, but search ranking depends mostly on your copy and on what you publish. No theme replaces that.
