A hosting site that sells well and a client area that looks like another company
Building a hosting company's website often ends in two separate worlds: a nice sales page in WordPress and a WHMCS client area with a completely different design. Visitors jump from one to the other and notice the gap right when they have to pay. Hostie is a WordPress theme built with Elementor that tries to avoid that break.
It is a theme for anyone selling hosting, domains or reseller hosting. In this business customers compare plans and prices in several tabs at once, and if the site looks different from the cart, they get suspicious before handing over their card.
Domain search, WHMCS prices and Elementor editing in Hostie
Everything is edited by drag and drop with Elementor, and from the theme options you change the logo, top bar, header and footer style, colors, menus, blog layout, banner and preloader. There are four header layouts (with a sticky header) and four footer layouts.
- Domain search with suggestions: visitors type a name and see alternatives. From the admin you can assign which extensions (TLDs) are searched and check the API connection from the theme options.
- Dynamic WHMCS prices: WHMCS products can be shown directly on the public side, with a currency switcher, so you don't type prices by hand.
- Sample content: one-click demo import, more than 50 inner pages, service and project styles, a blog and Google Maps.
- Multilingual: compatible with WPML and Polylang.
WHMCS template included, but WHMCS is separate
The theme includes the visual template for WHMCS, not the software. You need your own WHMCS installation.
The theme also ships with bundled plugins that are required for the demos and widgets to work. If you use HostBill instead of WHMCS, there is a domain search redirect for HostBill, but don't assume the whole client template is adapted to it.
Is Hostie right for your hosting business?
It fits if you already have WHMCS (or are about to set it up), want a site that matches your client area, and prefer editing with Elementor over paying for custom development. It doesn't fit if you want a generic theme for another industry: it is aimed at hosting and domains.
Does it replace WHMCS?
No. It provides the visual side and connects to WHMCS, but billing, clients and orders are still managed by WHMCS.
Do I need Elementor?
Yes, the theme is built with Elementor and pages are edited with it. Check in the demo which widgets you would use and that they fit what you offer.
Can I run it in several languages?
Yes, it is compatible with WPML and Polylang. You will need one of them installed.
Does it include a child theme?
Yes, it comes with a basic child theme for customizations without touching the main theme.
Is everything imported with one click?
The website demos import with one click, but the WHMCS template is installed in your WHMCS separately, so read the documentation before going live.
