Every guest who arrives through a booking portal leaves part of the rate as commission. Luviana is a theme designed for hotels, guest houses, hostels, resorts, inns and vacation rental homes (a single property or several) that want bookings to happen on their own website.

The theme includes the MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin, which provides the booking side: guests check the availability of each room and book in real time, paying online or on arrival.

Rooms, search and calendar: what the guest sees

The search form comes with four default fields: arrival and departure dates, and the number of adults and children. You can reduce it to check-in and check-out only, rename "Adults" as "Guests", remove the children field or state the age of children. You can also add your own fields, such as location or room type, and show those same values as extra details in the accommodations listing.

• Each room has its own availability calendar, which updates automatically.
• Services, bed types, views and amenities are stored as one database and assigned to the rooms that have them.
• You can add a photo gallery and presentation tours.
• The room listing can be shown as a classic list, as boxes or as minimalist columns, and switching between them is easy.

Luviana in the block editor: design without touching code

Luviana is built for the WordPress block editor and relies on Getwid, a free library of additional blocks (banner, image slider, advanced heading, testimonials, Instagram feed, image hotspots and more). It also includes its own blocks for rooms, the search form, calendars and services, so they are edited visually, without shortcodes. If you prefer another page builder such as Elementor, you can design with it too.

Visually, you can choose a full-width or fixed-width layout, turn the front-page slider into a video header (uploaded from the Customizer) and change the accent colors of buttons and widgets, the secondary colors for hover effects, the header text color and the background.

Payments, confirmations and daily management

You have three ways to process a reservation: automatic confirmation on payment, sending the guest an email with a confirmation link, or manual review where you approve or decline from the dashboard. Online payment works with PayPal, Stripe, Beanstream/Bambora, Braintree and 2Checkout, and Stripe also supports Bancontact, iDEAL, Giropay, SEPA Direct Debit and SOFORT. There is a bookings calendar menu with colors by status and filters by status and date, and you can give a staff member access to the calendars only, without entering the rest of the site.

Rates are flexible: you can set your own prices and booking rules, with no per-booking commissions or subscription fees.

Deciding if Luviana fits you: limits and common questions

Before choosing it, be clear that the booking side depends on the MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin that comes with the theme. If you want more local gateways via WooCommerce, MotoPress offers a separate paid addon that is not included. If you work with many portals at once, check in the demo and the documentation how calendar synchronization with them is handled.

Does it work for a single property?

Yes, it is designed for a single property as well as for several.

Can I charge on arrival instead of online?

Yes, guests can pay online or on arrival.

Do I have to use Gutenberg?

Not necessarily: it is built for the block editor, but you can also design with other page builders such as Elementor.
