About Icedk-Software – Design studio WordPress Theme
Icedk-Software: a studio's website is the first project a client evaluates
A design or marketing studio usually has the most neglected website of all: clients come first, so its own site ends up with an outdated portfolio, generic copy and a hidden contact form. And it is the first thing people look at when comparing studios, because they cannot judge your work without seeing how you present it.
Icedk-Software is a theme designed for creative studios and agencies: a homepage with a big message, services, featured projects, awards, a blog and contact, in a restrained structure that lets the images take center stage.
From the homepage to a client's email: the Icedk-Software walkthrough
The demo follows the path a potential client takes. Use it as a guide to organize your content.
Step 1: a clear promise on the homepage
The homepage opens with a large headline ("Let's Create Together" in the demo) and a sentence about what you achieve through marketing and design. This is where you answer "what do they do?" before the visitor scrolls. Write something specific to your studio, not a textbook phrase.
Step 2: services grouped by area
The offering is split into four blocks: web and mobile, branding, marketing, and motion and illustration. Each one lists disciplines such as web design audit, UX/UI, prototyping, development, style guide, promo video or 3D. If your studio only does two of them, delete the rest: a long list you cannot back up creates expectations you will not meet.
Step 3: projects with their type
Each piece of work is shown with a name, a descriptive line and its type (brand identity, digital platform...), with a link to see them all. It works better with a few well-told cases than with a huge grid. The well-known brands in the demo are sample material: replace them with your own work and do not show clients who have not authorized it.
Step 4: figures and awards
There is room for data that builds trust: repeat clients, years in business, awards. The demo figures are filler. Keep only the ones you can prove, or remove the block.
Step 5: contact
The site ends with a call to work together, plus phone, email and address, which are repeated in the footer. Change the sample details and check in the demo whether the form collects what you need before giving a quote.
Questions before building your studio site with Icedk-Software
- Is it useful for anything other than a design studio? Yes, if your business is explained through services and projects: marketing consultancies, advertising or architecture studios can use the same structure.
- Can I charge for projects from the site? It is set up to present services and capture leads. If you want to sell or charge online, you will have to add that part yourself.
- Are the demo's projects and figures installed too? Treat them as sample content: names, figures, English copy and contact details need to be replaced with your own.
- Does it have a blog? Yes, the demo menu includes a blog section alongside projects, services and contact.
What to change first so Icedk-Software does not look like a demo
A theme this visual shows right away when the content is placeholder. Before publishing:
- Rewrite headlines and service copy in your own voice and language.
- Replace the sample projects, brands, figures and awards with real ones.
- Swap the phone, email and address in the contact area and the footer.
