About Industrium | Industry & Factory WordPress Theme

The industrial buyer is assessing whether you will exist in five years

It is the underlying question in any industrial purchase, and it explains why the pages that convert in this sector are the ones that look least commercial.

When a company signs with you, they are not buying a machine or a service: they are tying themselves to you. They will need spares in three years, support when something fails, and somebody to answer if the equipment causes a problem in their plant. Contracts are long, payment deferred and liability lasting.

Which is why what weighs most in their decision is not your product, which is probably comparable to a competitor's. It is whether your company is solid. And that gets proved with dull facts hardly anybody publishes.

Industrium is a WordPress theme for industrial corporations, with the sections for presenting services, experience and senior management.

What it contributes

  • An industrial company structure, with clear, direct navigation.
  • Services and experience pages for presenting the activity.
  • Presentation of senior management, which in this sector is not decoration.
  • Versatile design, applicable across industrial subsectors.

The dull pages are the ones that close contracts

And they are exactly the ones left until last and filled with generic text.

The founding year and the track record. Not as a marketing sentence, but as data: founded in such a year, this many employees, this many square metres of premises. It is the first thing a purchasing department looks at when assessing a new supplier.

The physical address and a real photograph of the plant. Not a stock image of a generic warehouse. Yours, with your name on the front. In industry, a company with no visible address raises immediate distrust.

Senior management, by name. This theme expressly allows for it and for good reason: in industrial purchasing it matters who runs the company, how long they have been there and where they came from. It is a continuity signal.

The certifications, with their numbers. Quality, environmental and safety standards, sector approvals. In many tenders, without the certificate you do not pass the first filter.

Customer references. With permission, and by sector. Another company like theirs already trusting you is worth more than any technical argument.

What needs downloading, not only reading

It is the other repeated failure in this sector. The industrial buyer does not read your website: they collect documents for a file they will share with their team and their manager.

PDF datasheets, a downloadable catalogue, certificates, installation drawings, general terms of sale. All of it published and accessible, without a form in between if possible, because the compulsory form is the barrier that makes that buyer take the competitor's file instead, the one who had it published.

Requirements

It needs WordPress. For publishing catalogues and datasheets in quantity, a download manager beats loose files.

Alternatives in the catalogue

On the same ground, Manufaktur Solutions covers industry and manufacturing with eight site examples on Elementor, and Enginir leans towards engineering and projects.

If your company does contracting rather than manufacturing, the tone is different: BildPress is built for construction firms and contractors, and Antek for machinery hire.

If as well as manufacturing you transport or distribute, Equita covers the logistics side, with the tracking box that in that business is the homepage.

And the pieces needed alongside: Request a Quote turns the catalogue into quote requests, which is how you sell when the price depends on the order; WS Form PRO builds the long technical form in steps; and if your management system has to talk to the website, WPGetAPI connects the two without bespoke development.

Frequently asked questions

What does an industrial buyer look at first?
Whether your company is solid: founding year, size, physical address and certifications.

Why does senior management matter?
Because it signals continuity, and the buyer is tying themselves to you for years.

Should datasheets sit behind a form?
Better not. The compulsory form makes the buyer take the competitor's file instead.

Should prices be published?
In industry, hardly ever. What works is the quote request with technical details.

Is it suitable for any subsector?
Yes, its design is versatile and built for industrial corporations generally.

What is almost always missing from these sites?
The downloadable documents. The buyer assembles a file, they do not read a website.
