About JelyCo – ISP & Telecom WordPress Theme

The question everybody asks on an operator's website

It is a single one: does it reach my street? Not how much it costs, nor how many megabits, nor which router is included. If the fibre does not reach their building, everything else is irrelevant, and the visitor knows it. Which is why the first field they look for on the homepage is the address one.

Jelyco is a WordPress theme for internet providers, telecoms, voice over IP, internet television and hosting and server companies.

What it brings

  • Sector pages for broadband, television, voice and server services.
  • Editing with Elementor, dragging and dropping, without touching code.
  • WooCommerce compatibility, in case you sell equipment or take orders from the site.
  • Contact Form 7 for contact and enquiry forms.

What has to be developed separately

The coverage checker. No theme brings it, and none can: it depends on your rollout data, which belongs to you and nobody else. It can be solved several ways depending on what you have, from a list of covered postcodes to a query against your system by street number. What matters is that it sits on the homepage and answers immediately, because it is what turns a visit into an enquiry.

If you cannot automate it yet, the halfway option works: a short form asking for the address and promising an answer the same day. Worse than an instant check, but infinitely better than asking nothing.

The tariff comparison. A clear table with what each plan includes, the minimum term, the price once the promotion ends and what happens if you leave. That last column builds the most trust precisely because almost nobody includes it.

And the sign-up. Ordering a telecoms service is not an e-commerce purchase: there is identity verification, number porting and a contract to sign. That connects to your systems, not to WooCommerce.

A note on the advertised price

Advertising these services is subject to transparency rules: the final price including tax has to be stated, along with the price once the promotion ends, the length of the commitment and the penalties. Showing it with the same prominence as the offer avoids complaints and, in practice, better filters for people who will actually sign up.
